Anybody got big exciting plans for the weekend? I've got to work tomorrow (boooo), and then after work I'm driving to Buxton to look at a '71 318 and some Sweptline odds & sods. Guy claims the motor is in great shape, ran well when pulled, etc. but we'll see. I've looked at a couple with that description so far and mostly they've only been good for anchoring boats unless you wanted to do a full-on rebuild.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Can't they tell you what it came off? I think even if it fit but didn't come off a Taco then it will look funny because they are made specifically to the lines of each vehicle

So how does the electronic tolls work? I'm getting charged a set amount for every one I pass under?

Can I cover my plates with snow for a free trip haha

This probably isn't a good place for you to hang out if you thought those were mean posts. We've all been pretty well behaved today, most days the conversation is firmly planted in the gutter by 10 AM and then RRG logs on...
I wouldn't bother unless it's a cap that sits ONLY on top of the bed rails and does not roll over the edges at all. Even then, there's a chance it could contact that cab since dimensions between trucks are very different. If it is that type, it might 'work', but will still very likely look funky as it won't follow the truck's lines at all. Personally, I wouldn't risk it.
There's a grace period of 6 months in which any time you drive through the tolls, they photograph your license plate and will mail you a bill for the toll and only for the amount of the toll. After 6 months, they will start tacking on a penalty in addition to the cost of the toll although I'm not sure if that applies to out of staters as well.

Technically, if they can't read your plate, they can't figure out who to bill. Legally, that's probably not a great long term option, haha.

I think this thread has been pretty tame, even at it's worst.

So I passed under 4 tolls today. Do I get a statement showing each toll for the day?

Yep, pretty much. You'll get a bill in the mail in a week or so showing which tolls you hit and the value for each.

Had a milestone b'day earlier in the week (let's say I'm now spending time on the 50+ thread) - party is tomorrow. Sunday I'm going to the PBR at Madison Square Garden. Wifey's going for the Cowboys; I'm there for the Blue Def girls...
