I thought this was informative, but may not be what you're asking.

Just taking a guess here, the SQ knob is the squelch knob, you can adjust that to pick up stronger or weaker signals. So playing with that may help you pick up more.
The RF probably stands for Radio Frequency, maybe that is a way to tune your CB to different channels? Not sure.

FWIW I do not have a CB yet. Good luck!

I saw that video but I just have a basic Midland CB. I also dont have this thing that you plug in between the antenna and the CB to measure signal or whatever it is.

Does anyone on here tune CBs? :help: Willing to drive to you and drop off beer.

    Swr meter.

I'd check all connections first and the ground at the antenna. Also make sure the coax isn't kinked/ sharp turns anywhere.

Mine still transmits/ recieves even with really high swr reading. When running wiring for my lights I had to pull some trim pieces insides that I had ran the coax under and I had pinched/ partially cut through it with a ridge on the underside of the trim piece. It'll still work, but TX/Rx aren't nearly as strong as they should be and it's bad for the electronics to use it like that.

Last night on my way out to get dinner, what must have been ice broke off as I came to a stop. I heard and felt in the floorboards the piece break off then smash against the wheel well on the drivers side. It definitely caught me by surprise, my first thought was something seriously broke, but after a few turns of the wheel to check the steering I realized it must have just been ice.

Morning, New Englanders (and Scott )

A Balmy -11 at the house this morning, to get your blood moving!

Yeah, when I find the right piece of land and build the house is getting a steel roof with no dormers & at least a 9/12 pitch. Because the hell with climbing up there & shoveling.

I like that Seth was the only one to have liked this post so far...

    Of COURSE he liked it!

I would think that you'd appreciate an attractive woman burying her face in it much more than having Rob lounging on it...

Lucky bastard. We only got dusted, maybe 2 inches around here.

Morning all. Nice ride into work today with 2 accidents within 2 miles of each other on 95 north in Providence. And a Ford broke down blocking traffic as well. At least it gave me time to listen to the new DKM cd.
