Always hated when those ads would come on while I was eating dinner when I was living in my first apartment. Made my meal of pasta not taste so great, haha!
I used to raid my parent's deep freeze for steaks, roasts, & burger whenever I'd go visit them. :anonymous:

Right. The baby must be going through a growth spurt it something. He was doing well sleeping through the night, but the past month he's up 3 times a night to eat. So I'm sure she's looking forward to sleep, and eating without having to quickly stuff your face/ deal with a toddler and infant

Whats up from the west coast... Day 5 of straight snow - no letting up. Another 10-14 inches coming over night apparently. I have yet to take the frontier out of 4HI.

The Tacoma scene out here is amazing... Every other car is a taco... and 70% of them are modded. Too bad they look at me nuts when I wave at them from my rental....

Took mine to the dealer a few days ago for a sticker (I normally avoid the dealership but it's the closest place to my house and an inspection is the one thing they can't gouge you on). They said they couldn't pass it 'cuz the frame is toast and it's unsafe. I think they were expecting me to be angry when they broke the news, but I started doing the new-frame dance. Just waiting for the official approval from HQ. Time to put together a list of everything I want done while they've got it apart.

Oddly, I've been diligently checking around the leaf spring mounts and other typical failure points, but it was the cross members that rotted through.

    Morning all,

Bit of a hectic week so far.
    1. Dad goes for his post op follow up today. Thought it was next week as that was what my parents 'heard the nurse say' but, yesterday, I looked at the discharge paperwork myself and realized it was today...
    2. Mom hit a curb, cut the tire, bent the rim and drove a mile on it to get home...
    3. Dad broke a key in a lock at the house...
    4. Asked sibling for some help and got "oh, I have a meeting..."

Sooo today, wife needs a ride to work so I can take her car for dad (he can't get in the truck) - she can't drive a stick. Tomorrow, I have to get a rim. Saturday drill the lock. :annoyed:

Morning everyone. Woke up down here in RI and all the snow disappeared. @vssman not sure if you were trying to win the "crappy week so far" contest but for now, I think you've got it in the bag. Hope everything goes well for your dad at the follow up.
