Make him pay half the ticket, tell him it's his fault the CO's honed in on you! In my group, we all split the tickets. If there is 4 of us and one guy is out front hauling the mail and get's bagged, we split it 4 ways. We call the front guy the sacrificial lamb. But that's just for speeding tickets. None of us are dumb enough to run aftermarket silencers LOLOLOLOL!! Just kidding Rob!

<never had an issue with USPS.......they are always polite and never late and never destroy my packages. UPS however is a different story. Also not sure if it helps that I have visible cameras on the outside of my home.

How do tickets work for sleds? I'm assuming it has nothing to do with insurance. Is it just a fine and move on or what? I'm guessing if you don't pay you can't re-register?

They aren't criminal unless a DWI or reckless or something so they don't go on your license or insurance. Just like said above, it's no more than a cash grab.

Yes, you can't register the next year if you don't pay it. Used to have to take a safety course too, but I think that got axed thank god.

Back iun the day, MA didn't require a title to a vehicle older than 10 yrs. A friend is trying to get her 'Stang on the road that she has owned forever (when this was still the case) and was told she needs a title. WTF? Anyone else ever deal with that?

You haven't meet my friend. He's SO cheap that would never fly
I'm pretty sure that they mean nothing unless they are not paid. Then they go against your insurance. I don't actually have a ticket to pay but a date for court. I can call the courthouse to take care of it that way too. Geez thanks!
    My best friend works there

LEED Certifications have good intentions but are a bit if a sham. I'm all for sustainable buildings and the LEED system is some decent framework but needs a lot of tweaking. I've constructed some LEED Platinum buildings and it's a huge undertaking on the part of the construction manager. The paper trail involved for all the materials is nuts. That is impressive.

I can only imagine the garbage you would have to put up with to get a LEED certification. I lose my mind when I am doing oversight on a federally funded job - tracking every delivery and ensuring the Contractors aren't sneaking in non-us made materials is a big enough hassle as it is. No way would I want to be tracking the sourcing and making sure it comes from a specified distance away. Then the office work would be enough to make me quit.

Right but it never had one nor was required to. 1974, first bought it back in the 1980s.

Oh they just give you a court date? Wow. I'd be tempted to fight it. They didn't test it with a fuckin db meter, did they? How many of those pine pigs do you think ride Harleys with aftermarket pipes? Probably most of them.

We actually hire a subcontractor to track all of the credits for the final submission if we're going for a high level certification. LEED Bronze or Silver isn't bad but Gold or Platinum is a full time job. Here's the thing with the credits, we're in New England, do you really think we miraculously found iron ore locally or some of the other finish products? The answer is absolutely not, just like anything, there are loop holes or interpretations of how the credits are tracked. It's a well intentioned system, I just wasn't impressed to see how it actually operates in practice.

Nope no DB meter! I am tempted to fight it but who the hell wants to go all they way up there just to fight a ticket? That plus I will be royally pissed if I don't win fighting that ticket. I'm already pissed that I was singled out went my buddy had the same thing plus he had a problem with his registration

For some reason that's how they route it to my town. It goes to Bowdoinham, gets sorted and sent to the Sabattus post office, then sorted again and delivered to me in Wales.

They're always polite enough, and I've never had them wreck anything I had delivered. But, they're always, ALWAYS late. I don't know if it's because of where I am, but pretty much everything heavier than 5lbs will show up 2-3 business days after their estimated delivery date. But, this thing just showed up in Massachusetts on the last day of their original delivery date range, so I doubt it's because of my location. If it's ever anything that I need delivered by a certain date I ask the shipper to use UPS because they've never been late since I've been in this house.

Same shit that always happens to me. The surrounding cities/towns are fine but in my little town the mail and especially package deliveries are always long and delayed through USPS. Happened to my TWSS gift even
