    I feel your pain. Off to a shitty start myself. I feel like I spend most of my day defending myself and why I do things the way I do, and why things are done the way they are, rather than actually trying to do my job.

    Fucking hate it. I think the time for a change is coming...

    Yeah, that too. What makes it worse, at least for me and my job, is that because of the type of company we are and what we do/sell, and the "image" we try to portray, people feel like they can ask, no, DEMAND things that are a bit unrealistic in most cases, and then I have to basically tell them why, while trying to defend why I'm telling them that. I feel like I'm constantly watching over my shoulder, for HR to come walk me out of the building.

    Another thing that really pisses me off is, my "team" is just myself and another guy. There is an org chart published that says which one of us handle what. The other guy has been here FOREVER, but I have been in this department for about 3 years now. Things haven't really changed much as far as who does what since I came in. People are ALWAYS going to him for things they're supposed to come to me. Might seem like a petty thing, but to me I take it as disrespect since there is something out there that says who to go to.
