Do you oil the auger, chute and shroud for the auger? Helps keep heavy, thick snow from clogging it up. I dosed mine with PB Blaster before heading out and it did pretty well.

Good point, I did not...I was over confident having a new blower and no issues all season. The Snow Gods punished me for my hubris, lol

 

Snowblowed the driveway and found this under the truck.. looks like coolant leaking at every joint in the exhaust... not a good day. It's an '09 with 122k, I can't believe the head or intake gasket has gone bad already.. still runs fine but I'm debating on taking it to work tomorrow.

 

That sucks! Good luck dealing with that. Time for the F150 mod!

 

The old man talked me into looking at the radiator and overflow tank levels... Radiator is full and overflow tank is just below the low mark... Coolant color is red though... Not sure what is gong in

 

That actually looks like clean engine oil. Did you just change your oil?

 

500 miles ago... This is mostly underneath where the exhaust crosses over and connects to the rear portion with the muffler

 

Looks like Gatorade

 

Doing some research... Could be a reaction to the stainless exhaust and calcium chloride they treat the roads with... Or could be a reaction due to the cat being on the way out... I think the red coolant and yellow leak rules out a head gasket

 

15" of heavy cement down this way. My aching back... Cracked out the snowblower - too much for the quad this time.

Ooh, sorry man but that does not look good. After 122k that could be happening.
But F the 150 Mod and keep an eye on the radiator/coolant level until till you can get under there to find the leak.
It's could a hose or the rad itself.
A lot less $$ then a F150!
