    Painted the leafs today black with just a quick coat of rustoleum. I don't expect it all to stay but at least the non-contact sections might hold up. I'll molykote them this weekend. Also finished up painting the grille for the truck but won't be installing it until later.

    Did some side by side comparisons between the wheelers bushing kit for the Dakar leaf springs and the old man emu kit. The ome kit looks like basic energy suspension bushings and the wheelers has a slimmer exposed profile. Both fit and the prepressed in bushing on the Dakars are the same size. I might press it out and drop a bushing kit in its place instead.

    I contemplated the lca but they all are uni-all and with the winter driving I do I'm in the same boat. I have been following croms suggestions and will be buying a spare set of lca's used eventually and rebuilding them with some minor upgrades.
