I put the Icons on the rear of the F150 and now its clunking when I go over bumps. Ugh, have to figure out what I did wrong now.

Nah, he'll keep riding it before doing that. He's looking for like $7500. But thank you

Are they blown? They're eye-eye or eye-stem like a taco aren't they? Not much to mess up there.

Eye-eye. I went back out, tightened the shiznit out of them and it seems to have worked. I thought I had them plenty tight before considering it's just a rubber bushing but apparently not. I gave them all another 1/2 turn or so and no more noise.

I need to lose some weight. I don't fit in them as well as I would have 10 years or 25 pounds ago.

Nice! They match the interior better than the stock seats did.

Agreed. In my dream world I'd eventually convert the full interior to black, but they're night and day better than the factory seats, even if right now they're a bit of a medieval torture device because they haven't broken in yet.

Gray leather belongs in your grandparent's Buick, not a sports car. I highly dislike leather in cars anyways, so this was a great way to ditch it. It was torture trying to get the back bolts cinched down. The sliders aren't exactly fantastic, so I couldn't slide the seat forward enough to get a socket on them so I had to use a ratcheting wrench that went maybe two clicks at a time. It took me about 15 minutes to get one bolt cinched down.

Bearing, seals, disk brake conversion, waiting on the bearing cups. I had to order from a different site. Once those come in I can start assembling everything. Also order a radiator probe to turn my electric fans on instead of the switch. I always forget to turn them on and I've overheated this engine at least a dozen times.

It took a while but we were doing more to Jason's truck. He got a unbelievable awesome lift with reservoir shocks, new UCA's and we even swapped in some welded spindles with new seals. Took longer to install than we wanted but at the end of the day it got all done and looks awesome!

Does the disk brake conversion use GM calipers?

Morning all. Wife's car had a warped front rotor. I installed a Hawk drilled & slotted kit on all 4 corners with their ceramic pads. That thing will now put you through the windshield. Tacoma will be getting a set when it's time to do the brakes!

Definitely might have pulled a muscle yesterday but overall I'm super happy and soooo much thanks to @mach1man001 for the guidance and for wrenching with me. I couldn't have done it without him. Esp since the very first bolt we did had to be cut off.

The ride - I only drove it home last night few laps near robs place but it rides smooth. I love the rake of the suspension.
Before I had 19" up front (center of hub to fender liner) and 20.5" in rear. Now I have roughly 22" and 24.5". This is with the factory settings from Kings on the front. Im sure it will settle a bit but overall I can barely rear the glass window on the cap when it's open. Climbing into the bed is a bitch as well but totally worth it.

It looks totally different than it did and it pretty much is exactly what I wanted. I'm done with the truck for now for the season so time to have some fun with her... Oh wait can't I'm leaving for 3 weeks for work... Then possibly another month in Oregon... Haha

And here are just some quick shots - it just started to rain here - I did notice that when I corner hard or fast on off ramps I hear a ton of tire squeal. Mind you I don't have a sway bar and my center of gravity is a lot higher so that might attribute to it. I used to whip this thing around off ramps... So it'll take some adjusting.

So we just had about 20 minutes of rain.

I checked my windshield which was resealed on Friday (and newly scratched pillars as well!) and sure enough, more water.

Shot another email to my insurance agent. I'm about ready to sell the GD truck.

Is it that difficult to fix? I have been a ball of stress in general for like two months now and the windshield has been a big part of it and it just refuses to go away. I'm sick of the back and forth, the damage to my truck, the taking time off of work, etc.

    Ugh.
