I'm with these guys, Friday for me also

 

Finally, some sort of justification for drinking to excess on a school night

Are you shittin' me? What time is your average bedtime? I go to bed by 9:30 or 10. 5am is 7 hours and plenty.

 

x2, except I'm usually not in bed that early unfortunately. Still up by 5, out the door by 5:30 and at work before 6:30 every day.

 

I'm out before 5:30am and clocked in before 6 everday

 

Midnight usually

Personally I'm usually in bed around 10-10:30 and awake at 4:30-5. If I stay up until midnight I'm still up at 4:30-5, but I'm tired all morning.

Yeah, that's why I asked. Nothing like packing up in the rain, lol.

 

I have a hard time falling asleep earlier than that

 

I'm asleep by 9:30, up by 5:30. 8 hours is perfect. Less than that and I have a hard time waking up in the morning. Weekends are more like 10:30 - 6:30.

 

The fastest way to change when you fall asleep is to change when you wake up. If you wake up at 7 every day, you'll probably start falling asleep earlier because you'll be tired earlier.

That's assuming you want to change it, of course. If you don't mind sleeping late every morning then keep doing what you're doing.

 

haha it's not like i sleep until 10. i'm usually checking my work emails by 7:30

 

I wish I could go to sleep earlier, if I get to sleep by midnight, I would be thrilled. But up by 6:30 weekdays. Weekends still only sleep about 6 hours.

Took yesterday off, so I'm sure today will be all sorts of hell at work. FML.

 

I'd be driving up tonight, unpacking in the rain and trying to get the well water to the house, says rain tomorrow and Monday. Saturday and Sunday look decent though

 

Happy "Friday" to those of us who have tomorrow off. Heading to a drs appt so I even get to go in late on my last day of the week. Then I get to spend the weekend looking for a new refrigerator. You would think one would last longer than 15 years. Oh well. My washer and dryer are still chugging along after 22 years. Had then longer than I've had my wife.

Is it a drilled well, at least? Or are you trying to prime a shallow well pump from in the house?

 

Lol it's a well, in a well house about 100 yards downhill from the house, that's in like a 6ft deep cinder block house

Only thing in the house for it is the breaker and plumbing

 

We're sticking fairly close to the house this weekend, it looks like. These two guys were running around my broody hen when I got home yesterday, and at least two of the other three eggs she's sitting on are peeping.



One of the other eggs had pipped and was starting a zip this morning. We usually stick around for a couple of days when they're very little in case the mother ditches them. This hen is pretty dedicated to chick raising (she's the same one that did it last year, and she even went so far as to adopt 3 chicks that we'd bought) but you never know. So day trips only, which looks like a good plan due to the forecast.

Shallow well, then. Priming those pumps can be a real bitch, that's for sure.

 

Not to rub it in any more... but its my Friday as well.
