Yeah... not sure if those things are different on every one or not.

Seems like it would be. Doubt having this thing on there would make much of a difference if someone really wanted to steal it.

 

It might be like 2k gross or something. I forget, but that's how I registered my sunfish/ boat trailer since the PO built it himself and didn't have a title.

 

Trailers are by gross weight. Under a certain amount no title needed. Only thing you need for homebuilt is a bill of materials basically. I made one up with random prices in Excel and told them I got all the parts off Craigslist. No inspection needed.

 

Used Tacomas (1st and 2nd gens only) and used Tundras (1st and 2nd gens), possibly is350 awd. Not a whole lot else really peaks my interests

Yea they usually do... Gotta look at all the Toyota dealers within an hour or so of me

I like the 1st gen tundras. The crew cabs look nice lifted with bigger tires. Plus they have a ton of room....for activities

Managed to get it all back together and fairly close to spec after replacing the LCA bushings and hardware last weekend. I don't think I posted about it, but with help from Drew @tacobell007 and Levi, we got the front end all sorted out. I got it aligned this morning, had them set the caster at 3.5 based on what I saw on the JBA website.

 

Could it be constantly above 60? It's end of May after all

Think I may try to tackle all the front end nonsense on the FJ this weekend since we're staying home. Driver's LCA, light racing UCAs, adjust driver's 5100 up a notch and remove top plate spacer to try to get rid of lean, PS pump flush, pull / grease/ reinstall all cam adjusters.


It'll be nice to be home for a holiday. Plus we're doing a fund raiser at the gym for one of the local veterans non- profits. Last year we raised ~$11k, this year it's looking like at least double that which is pretty cool.

 

Was in WV past few days, had an Expedition with an Ecoboost. For such a boat that thing really moved nicely. Don't get me wrong I'd never own one, but the engine/ trans combo was really nice. Never put you into the back of your seat but when you press the gas it just went.

 

I had one in Texas, it was a nice car

 

I usually get a hemi ram when I fly into Charleston cause National always has a bunch. But they were out when I got there and it was either the expedition or a escape. The hemis are a blast cause they will burn rubber all day,but the expedition was like driving a more luxury oriented vehicle. Only thing I didn't care for was not sure if tires were under inflated ( computer said they were ok), the fact the things weighs a ton or a combo of both but under spirited cornering the tires felt like they were rolling over some.

Then again I probably should have been driving more prudently...

 

Don't worry, it's almost June so it will be about 115F with 98% humidity in a week until it's ready to snow again.

I used to love this part of the world for it's changing seasons. Now it just goes from "barely winter" to "holy ball sweat it's hot".

Says the person who doesn't have balls... if you did you wouldn't be asking for it. Trust me.

 

Just please, can we have a month of good motorcycling weather? Doubt it.
