Very cool, lot's to see. Use cab's or the T (subway) to get around though. Boston is a very old city and the design of the roads (or lack there of) is probably the only bad part of that. Hope you have a great time!

Yesterday went well, Fiance was completely surprised at the shower, and I could barely fit all the gifts in the truck on the way home.

Morning folks. Happy Monday...6 day week for me this week, since this is my week to work a Saturday. Boooooooo......

On the plus side, though, this happened yesterday:

With the top folded down it barely fits in my tractor tent, but I got it lined up and in there first try :bananadance:

Now I need to figure out where I'm going to keep the tractor...

Did you spray her with the hose?

For someone who seems relatively practical, why on Earth did you buy a boat?

I'm guessing because his girlfriend told him no more vehicles so he's trying to prove a point.

Two nights in Boston for a conference cost me $100. And the garage was clearly not designed with trucks in mind.

Ha, I'm also single and live alone but don't feel I've made any mistakes living where I do. But then, I'm not a big people person so it just suits me better.

I did have a Jehovah's Witness show up on Saturday. At first I thought it was odd because with the spacing between houses here it's much less efficient than going anywhere else. But then I realized the type of people here are probably more conservative and more likely to be open to joining them.

So I can take large-breasted women for a ride on a choppy day? :D

I actually bought it relatively practically (As practically as you can get, with a boat, at least) because I got it for far less than the sum of its parts are worth (Story below) VVVVVVVVVVVV
So worst case scenario, I can always part it out and get my $$ back.

The GF and I have been talking about picking up a little runabout for a while, but everything we've come across has either been junk or it's been more $$ than we've been willing to spend. I stumbled across this one on my way to the dump yesterday for $350, with a galvanized trailer, no leaks, in good shape, with a 40hp Mercury that doesn't idle right (why the PO was selling it) and I jumped on it.
Previous owner replaced Spark plugs, wires, stator, rectifier, and coil (basically the entire ignition system) trying to get it to idle correctly because he was convinced it's an electrical problem. He finally got frustrated, threw a wrench thru the drywall in his garage (he showed me the hole, even  ) and stuck it out at the end of his driveway with a 'for sale' sign on it.
Personally, I think it's a carburetor issue, since it's still got last year's gas in the tank and it smells varnish-y. But even if that doesn't cure it, the trailer alone is worth $800 or so, and there's 40hp outboards advertised all over the place for PARTS that are more than I spent on the whole package. :notsure:

lol ethanol in the gas pretty much guaranteed.

On my small outboards I only use that VP Racefuel that comes with no additives. Expensive but zero fuel issues to deal with.

I never use anything other than regular pump gas and good 2 stroke oil and I never have any issues.

Does it have an external or internal tank?
