    Good morning folks,

That's prob Taunton Auto and Truck. Were you on Winthrop street? Rt44? He's always got a ton of them. Sometimes he has some pretty clean ones.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
    LOL. I hear that
That doesn't surprise me at all. We actually called that as soon as we heard that you got one. He seems to follow you around
Yeah well good luck with that!
See @jztacoma this ^^^ is what I'm talking about. Even plated and coated the Billy finish sucks too. Here's a picture of a 1YO Billy from VT. Mine were exactly the same way I just forgot to take a picture of them

My icon 2.0 rear shocks held up really well to a couple winters. I am posting them for sale if anyone is interested. 0-2" lift, smooth body shocks with about 25k miles

I resemble this remark. I'm trying to control myself more now; I've only had 5 in the last 5 years, but for a while there I had a revolving door in the driveway.

I covered my 5100's with fluid film and they still got all corroded the first winter. After that I was kind of like fuck it, they work just fine just look like garbage.

I also bought my truck there 4 years ago with a two day old frame. I would do it again no complaints

I wish I had done it prior to install of my suspension. I did fluid film, then switched to AMSOIL HD MP and it still ends up looking like poo......I have a polish for them too If I ever want to clean the heck out of them, but unfortunately it'll never be a show truck so it's like what's the point.

I have never liked Fluid Film. Shit made a mess going on, and it almost seemed like it made it rust more since all the salt and shit stuck to it or something

You guys think a '17 4 Runner would be less capable than my Access Cab to tow my 3000lb max V-nose trailer? The T4R is rated at 5000lbs, but it seems strange, I would think it would be at least as capable. I'm lusting over one at my local dealer right now.

Both will do it but the Tacoma will handle the load better being leaf sprung with longer wheelbase.

It should drag it just fine. The issue an SUV typically has when compared to the truck it shares a frame design with is weight. The SUV typically weighs more because of the interior finishes so the payload has to be reduced. At least the 4Runner still has a solid rear axle and, actually, a rear sway bar might make it more comfortable towing. I don't know how coils do vs. leafs as I've never had coils but at least there's no axle wrap!

Leaf is superior to coils in terms of weight handling cap
