I've never auto-x'd, but I recall with the Subaru there were a few random mods that would knock you out of stock...maybe you can do sways.

I'm trying to find a used Camry All-Trac for @Pugga to buy. Save him from Jeeps and other things he can mod.

That would obviously be perfect for commuting, and i would commute the shit out of it sans the ridiculously loud exhaust. I hate 4cyl exhaust noise, it all sounds like a bag of dicks

I'd agree with you about 75% of the time, but I do like most boxer rumble as well as a high end exhaust (Comptech / A'pex-i) on Hondas. My Accord had A'pex-i World Sport 2 and it was dead quiet at idle and just a slight tuned sound at WOT, my cold air intake was louder. My friend had a JDM ITR swap on his GS-R with Comptech exhaust and I thought it sounded great, especially at VTAK crossover.

That being said, 95% of four bangers have those awful ebay fart cans (the tiny mufflers that are only slightly larger in diameter than their exhaust tips) welded to stock piping driven by people who need to rev up every time they need to get moving sound awful and give the whole car scene a bad name.

I love the revving really high in 1st with the clutch slipping to get going every stop. God damn, how hard is it to just let it grab and go instead of revving the piss out of it/ slipping the clutch?

EXTREMELY. It's part of the Idiots Guide to Beat-Up 90's 4-cylinder cars.

Spiritual brothers to Harley owners who can't. stop. revving. the. ******. bike. every. 3. seconds.

Living on a corner does this to me. Sit at the corner and rev and rev and rev. That or going WOT they second they turn onto my street.

That's because, have you ever seen those MF'ers shake when they idle? They keep revving them because they shake like hell when they're idling. I have very little love for Harleys. I have a ton of respect for their roots, but I think there are much better options out there, especially at the price point they start at.

Sounds like I'll have to see how the taco does over time with the commute to work. Maybe the gf will let me steel her Rav4 once in a while. It's about 25 miles, mostly highway.

Always a surprise when a tapioca pearl comes torpedoing out of the straw and drills you in the tonsils.

Yeah, double cab Tundra is comparable in room to my double cab Tacoma last I looked at one.

I'm pretty set on a TRD Off Road Limited, though if they made a TRD Sport Limited I'd go for that instead. I don't like chrome.

Man the Tundra 4door crew cab or whatever its called was huge compared to my tacoma. In the back seat I could fully stretch out in that thing and it was super comfortable.
