Cool. I will be there. I have a sneaking suspicion I know where it is where we're heading, but I will wait to see when we get there.

Riding vs Wheeling is tough decision. Both are good times.

So long as it's not an NGrid transmission line it's all good. Getting caught on Grid property would be bad pie for me. We do a lot of work for them, recently redesigned a transmission line very close to rt44 running from CT/RI border into RI.

Evan, Just a thought but if your garage isn't tall enough for you to open the hood, are you going to be able to get the truck out with a lift kit installed?

Kidding, i thought of that lol. I will be fine i just have it jacked up high right now. Once i have the 285s on i should have about an inch of clearance in the garage.

 I get to drive them legally. I need to have a legit reason to be out there though. Haven't been to the Grid line that's over there in a while. Doing a refurb/ adding a new 345kV line along that same route, from near Putnam CT to North Smithfield, RI with construction starting early next year.

I know NGRID is pretty strict about keeping the public off their right of ways. We are just wrapping up a project with 2 new 115kV lines and 2 345kV lines from North Smithfield to Warwick, and there was a ton of theft and vandalism unfortunately. So it's certainly understandable they don't people. Plus, 115kV is nothing you really want to be around, let alone 345kV.

Putting the OME coilovers together is sketchy! I had my spring compressors and two huge 24" woodworking clamps on there. I still have a little play in the dust boot which makes me think i wasnt able to compress the coils enough. Ill try to tighten the main nut down more once the weight of the truck is on there. One coilover and one LR UCA is in, i should be able to finish the front tomorrow night :woot: :D

Are you using air tools? My top plate needed an impact wrench to tighten it up

Nope. I need to tighten the top plate down another 16th though. I was getting nervous when the spring compressors staring bending a little to much. Ill use the weight of the truck to help snug it up all the way. I bought a big ass torque wrench and breaker bar so i should be fine without air tools. Plus i swing a hammer for a living so ill torque those fuckers to 100 ft/lbs with my bare hands :p

My girlfriend and her family are really upset about the shooting, well i am sure everyone is. My girlfriend is going to school for social work and she works with alot of young kids in the school system for her internship. Her mother is a psychologist and she is registered with the red cross national mental health disaster team. She went to newtown today to help, she just got home and is a mess.
