Not in July.

 

Going on two years straight with mine. It's not so bad when you get used to it! Mines been through 110 degree heat with 90% humidity.

...Then again at that point being clean shaven wouldn't really help...

 

I would rather have a beard in July than need to wear a suit any time.

 

It can help keep you cooler, just get it wet.

 

Agreed! I feel dressed up when I'm wearing any kind of pants.

 

Lol, 2 years ago the few times I wore pants (not shorts), the kids called me sample pants, and the other staff would ask if my wife was sick and not able to do laundry.

Itches when I sweat. Since I spend most of the summer sweating, I'd spend most of the summer with an itchy face and that would bug me. Easier just to shave it.

If your opinion was worth anything, that'd hurt.

 

I understand the sweat issue, but will respectfully disagree with the easier to shave, that takes time and not to mention when I shave I get carded all the time.

Yeah for me it only itched at first. Then it's like my face adapted and now it hardly ever itches. Or maybe I just never notice it anymore. Who knows.

 

I have a gray and a black suit. Gota wear a suit to court now. I liked wearing khakis and a button down but can’t quite do that anymore.

My dogs both approve of the gray suit. Dog hairs don’t stick out and I don’t need to lint roll for days. The black however...

 

Meh. I figure that I'd rather spend 5 minutes with the mug & razor in the morning than spend all day itching. It's just less hassle for me

How was Freeport? We had great weather up here for your last hurrah.

 

Friday and Saturday were nice, Sunday was pretty bad and we cut our trip a day short. It was blowing and raining so hard that, when I opened the camper door, the rain was pretty effectively soaking the back wall.

Otherwise, it was good. We went to the Freeport Fall Festival on Saturday and hit Isabellas up on Sunday for breakfast before the rain. We had a good time!

 

That's kind of surprising; I'm not far up the road from Freeport and I didn't have much rain at all on Sunday, just a couple of brief cloudbursts. Must have just stuck to the coast.

 

Damn... we got hit pretty good. I woke up in the middle of the night to roll up the awning due to the wind. No big deal there and sort of expected with that campsite anyways. Even in the summer, I had to do the same. Once the rain rolled in though, it wasn't a lot of fun. We kept the boys in the camper as long as we could but once cabin fever sets in, forget it. We saw a break in the weather, packed up and left for home.

 

The wife heard back from Firestone. So from almost 3k from Mazda, and supposedly needing to replace three things, to not even $300 and only having to replace one thing.

Talk about stealership. Mother fuckers.

The guy at Firestone recognized me, from when I got my rims and tires put on.
