You're right, usually 1 bowl per pair. We got a good waiter once and they let 4 of us get 4. We went around the table ordering and all pointed to the person next to us as the 'pair'. It was the start of a good night.

Depending on when and where you go in Boston, I may join. I work downtown now and would stick around and grab a drink with you guys.

I'm probably late to this party, but do you have any recourse with Toyota in terms of that coating you had done back a few years ago? I remember a shop in RI did your whole frame and it wasn't cheap.

Rob's parts are awesome. He helped my friend with his Grand Cherokee issue and he was pumped.

I think the fact I don't drink is the only reason I have half the stuff I do. Whenever I'd go out and my friends would dump hundreds on alcohol my jaw would just hit the floor. Then I'd log onto whatever car parts site I was on at the moment and dump it into that stuff. I suppose in the end it all comes out in the wash.

I do drink too much soda, diet as well. It's my only vice, so I try not to stress it. I love how often people love to make snarky remarks about it, especially when they have many of their own issues.

 

Yup, everyone has their vices. Everyone likes to make remarks about me smoking. Which granted isnt good for health or the wallet (switched to rolled ones for a lot cheaper) but at the same time I could be doing quite a bit worse things.

I also seem to have some sort of issue when i quit smoking and got the terrible mood swing side affects from my seizure disorder meds, while smoking they are drastically less dramatic

Thankfully not, from the new paperwork I received from Toyota, it said your frame could still be replaced even if it was coated or fixed by someone before hand. I am glad I was reimbursed by Toyota for the coating I had done from Auto Rust Technicians, as I would NEVER do it again! It really didn't help, and it was a pain to work on the truck after they coated it. I am going to update my thread when I bring my truck to the dealership to get the frame replaced.

 

I'm glad to hear you were reimbursed as that was a lot of $$$. I'm also glad to hear that Toyota is still helping you out with the frame.

 

So am I, my father didn't think Toyota would have approved the frame for replacement, but they did. I should take some pictures to post on here. The frame rotted in a odd spot, at the top of the c-channel, under the bed drain (which makes sense, but I have never seen before on another truck).

 

That is weird. Mine rotted in the typical spot and i had severe delamination
