Yea i got sick of looking at all the rust buckets around here. I just figured I'd look where cars dont really rust out so i looked around Florida and found that. It is very nice but way too much $.

IV had this tire balancing issue scince i got my new 33's. I thought it was a bent rim because i could see the driver rear wobbling at highway speed. I bought a new rim and just had it mounted... Samething. awful harmonic vibe at 50mph. I just did a good once over on the rear axle nothing i can see loose bent missing.:violent: I cant seem to figure this out. I hope my rear axle isnt bent.

I tapped into the power for my radio accesories. There should be a small fuse on the power line that came with the radio.

Check out some of the stuff from Maine. They have some cheap built rigs.

I hate to say but sounds like a bent axle.

Sadly i dont think so. I replaced that bearing about a year ago.

Full lock going forward or semi-tight turns when reversing. It's done it a couple times but the first 2 times I thought it was just something loose in the cab (in the rear storage compartments). I secured everything and it did it again and I can replicate it so I know there's something moving that shoudn't. I'll check that everything is tight tonight and go from there.

Maybe just a bad tire. You should rotate the tires and see if the problem moves with it or not. Then you can start to figure out wheel/tire combo or axle.

Rotate the tires front to back and see if the problem stays on that axle or moves to the front. If it stays, you'll know it's not the rim, if it moves, you'll know it's the rim or the tire.

Shit, Rob beat me to it...

He said he just put a new rim on and had the same problem. Did you have the rim and tire balanced or just the tire mounted to it?

Iv swapped tires in and out yada yada. The rim was kinda my last hope. Im probably going to put my old 31's on to see what happens. The Xterrains im running are pretty odd shaped and dont ride great to begin with. Maybe thats my problem but im kinda doubting it at the moment.

Edit: iv gotten them balanced and double balanced lol. If the 31's solve my problem balancing powder might be the ticket.

None yet but soon all black.
I know you just replaced the lower control arms but it seems like thats it. Maybe they didnt tighen the bolt. That is what town fair didnt do it and thats why i had the noise. Lube it up and tighen it and you should be good to go. Thats what the shop in cape cod did and no sound now.

I did that and still making noise. I couldn't budge the LCA bolts so the shop did tighten them up. I also rechecked any other bolt that I touched during the process (spindle connection, shock bolt and all 4 LCA bolts). I'll mess with it some more tonight when I get home from work. It was nice this morning so I just left the truck and took the motorcycle in to work. :D
