Doubtful. Everybody in the office either has the flu or a cold except for me.

 

Holy shit I really wish I had more vacation or sick time to use; I do have 2 days left though.....

Side note: the AT Adventures that I put on the F150 are awesome in the snow! Turned the truck into a tank. I was getting around with standing snow on the roads Saturday afternoon and evening in 2wd with zero issues. With the new rubber that truck is a tank in the white stuff!

 

Morning all. Hope you had a great weekend, we didn't get hardly any snow, which I like. Spent yesterday in the woods with a buddy on 4wheelers, forgot how fun they are

 

Who makes that tire again? I looked closer on my tires and was wrong about my Goodyear Wranglers, they are the Fortitude HT's not SR-A's but they worked really quite well in the snow. I drove in the worst of it too, I went to a Manchester Monarchs hockey game on Saturday night, drove 70 miles of highway and the truck didn't handle weird at all.

 

Looked like a hero this storm my dads plow tundra had a blinking 4 hi so i jacked it up cleaned the plugs then engaged it with the tires lifted and moving free.

 

Goodyear.

I had the Fortitude HT's on it all last winter. They actually give pretty decent snow traction for being such a tame-looking street tire. But once they do lose traction they take a couple of seconds to find it again, so I wanted something a little more bitey. I was tempted to go full Duratrac again, but opted for the AT Adventures instead, and I'll just leave them on year round

I get a discount, though. Paid $140 per for a 275/65R18 in C load range, and there's an $80 mail-in rebate right now so it'll basically work out to $120 per. Duratracs are even worse; even with my discount they're still $165

I can relate I rarely get sick. Thus far I have been immune to every workplace plague. I want to save my days for when I inevitably fuck myself up having fun.

 

Happy Monday all; I really wish I didn't have to leave the mountains yesterday

While the most of you were hiding from the snow I was out playing in ME. Saturday was getting the gf on the slopes and teaching myself switch in a day; Sunday was a first snow, first chair kind of day which was a great day for even getting 5-6". This new storm forecast @Noelie84 has makes me think a sick/vacation day is in my future . I also came to the realization that I crank when I'm on the mountain, 3:12 skiing time, 11/12 runs (I don't think my app can count); 16/17 mins a run with around 10 of it being the lift

And to top it all off an epic beer haul to bring home

 

Morning all. Guess who didn't get around to snowblowing their driveway. Too much damn stuff to do.

Instead I replaced 2 outdoor electric recepticles + covers that had given up to ghost so I could plug in the lights I strung on our fence. Daughter loves Christmas lights and we've both got 4wd so it's not a huge deal. Hopefully most of it melts today though.
