Just read another article, she was trying to make it in the skeleton first (for Venezuela), and when that didn't pan out, she went this way.

 

Yeah I saw that this morning to. It’s like your impressed she was able to play the system like that and was able to compete and could follow their dreams and all... but same time it’s like what the hell

Ya I want one, but no monies for one. It is something that my economical brain wouldn't allow me to get, not to mention I'm not even sure they came in a manual trans.

 

This one would not be too expensive, as it has 325k miles and climbing (but you would be amazed at how clean it is)! And no, the only way to get a manual was to get the V6, only an automatic with the V8.

 

The panels themselves are surprisingly light. I'd be concerned with uplift more than anything, wind getting under the panels and just ripping the whole roof structure off. The added weight on a New England roof designed for snow load would be minimal. The new panels are really, really light.

 

I would also think the snow would slide off them, much like a metal roof.

My 5160s arrived yesterday. Looks like larger diameter than regular 5100s + resi. Much beef, such sex , so off-road, wow.

 

The problem is it would still be live to the switch so even if the switch was as close as possible on the roof someone now needs to climb on the roof and shit it off while thehouse is burning also even 1” of live wire at a a high amperage could conduct with the water amd cause injuries so a kill switch really isn’t feasible electrically speaking.

 

Supposedly it's good for three years and we can drop back to normal National Grid service at any time.

Not like it's a big savings, though. Less than 2 cents off the normal rate, I think.

I've been trying to think of where to go. Option 1 is my favorite mexican place (@mach1man001's favorite) with pitchers of Margaritas and great food. Option 2 is one of the last neighborhood bars in Fenway with good food and drinks, and great service. I've got other ideas if y'all want something more rowdy, or specific foods/drinks/price ranges.

As for parking, I know of lots in Somerville/Cambridge where you most likely won't get a ticket, or paid lots in Fenway.

 

Not yet... I need to though. Haven't yet because I was waiting to see if any TW member had one for sale, since I typically like to help out fellow members and buy stuff from them. Haven't had any response to my "feeler" yet, so probably going to end up buying it from HS.
