I have no clue when everyone is planning on coming in anyways, so that's fine. If people want to come in early so they have time to drink, sober up, and drive back we can day drink, otherwise we can meet up later on in the day. If anyone wants to crash at mine just let me know and I'll ask the girlfriend.

 

Work better if there was a place or area in the middle of the state to meet like that. Going to Boston sucks with traffic and on a Saturday it will be crazy.

This weekend came out of some people expressing interest in going out in the Boston nightlife and wilding out.

Just got the email notification that the delivery is only tomorrow now. Not that I care to be honest, but took them all of this time to update something that went from NJ to NY?!

I'm used to my packages traveling from California to RI in one day, then taking 2 or 3 days to travel 15 minutes north.

 

It's unreal I tell ya... From NJ to NY took 2-3 days. They must have walked the package there.

 

The hole in the roof will happen with just about any structure fire. They need to vent the smoke so that they can see when they enter the building and the roof is the easiest way to do it. If you have solar panels in the way, they can't easily do that and your house may end up a pile of charcoal before they can. The other issue with panels on the roof is weight, especially on older homes that weren't designed with them in mind. The structure is weakened by the fire and several hundred pounds of metal and glass hanging over your head isn't very appealing to the guys who are risking their own lives to save your stuff.
