What's this "short week" you speak of?

For some odd reason the next paid day off at the shop is Good Friday I believe

 

That's odd to get Good Friday as a paid day off. Growing up I went to all catholic schools so I was used to getting holy days off. But seems a little for a shop to be closed.

There is actually a take out place right by me that is closed all of Holy Week and every Sunday for religious reasons.

Yeah, me either, other than 6 weeks in Junior High where they taught us a couple of very basic phrases. I took French in High School, figuring it'd be useful since we're next door to Quebec. Unfortunately, for some reason they taught us classical French instead of Canadian French, so I went to Canada after I graduated on a booze trip with some friends and understood about 1 word in 3

 

Yeah man!!!!! As long as you're down there and don't get sent home, I'm in. Might have to wait and see how the rest of the day goes, just in case, but if it holds up, I'm IN!

 

I went to a Catholic High School, by choice, and it was awesome to have more days off/half days than the public school kids. Plus when I was a senior I started later and got out earlier than public high school kids

 

Eh pretty safe to say I’m not going home. Rain isn’t supposed to start until after lunch so no matter what I’m working until at least 1 or 2 and I’m not going to drive two hours home because I gotta be back tonight for 11

 

There is 6 locations to secure it. I am into it for $150, I'll do 100. You could always cruise by and take a look

The more you pay the less you go! The high school I went to was boys only and it was a ton better than it sounded when I first got there. My senior year our last day of classes were the end of Feb. We then had to do like 120 hours of community service by Mid-May. It was awesome.

 

I’ll probably be taking off from the brewery by 730ish at the latest just so I can get a quick nap in. Nuno, you said you’ll be there around 530 right? I’ll get there a little earlier try and snag a table

 

Sounds good. I'm sure the wife will want me back home ASAP anyway so I can help with the kiddos' bedtime routine.

I'm going to try and sneak out of work as early as I can, hopefully by 4:30, so I can get there by 5:30. I'll let you know when I hit the road.

Yea I hear that, we also went on summer break before public schools as well! I graduated a week before the public high school did lol
