That's my plan, start early and pit as many dealers against each other as I can. Still undecided on which truck I'm going for though...
That step in the window makes sense with the tow mirrors. Since a lot of the F150s don't come with tow mirrors, I can see how it looks silly on the regular models.
The cab is identical between the F150 and Super Duty, the rest of the truck is very different.

Yeah I can see that could be an issue, but so far it's hasn't been for me. I didn't realize the Ford was all flat in the back seat with no hump. That's real nice, I'd like that for sure.

What do you think of the new Platinum Reserve Tungsten Blackout Elevation Summit Alaskan All-Star package?

I'd love it if it came in the Harley Davidson trim as well

The name is nearly as long as the land barge I'm sure it'd come on.

C-Pillar forward is all the same (sheet metal and sub structure, obviously frame and such is totally different). So you can un-bolt a fender and swap it over between the two and same with the doors and seats.

That's an easy add-on, just make it obnoxiously loud, give it an unreliable tune and charge double what the competition would and boom, done.

You sure about that? I'm pretty sure it's just the cabs that are the same. The fenders and box look very different.

There's no way those are the same fenders.

The cab, maybe. But not a chance on the fenders.

They are only available in 17s and 18s for that style. Choice of black or grey, may get the grey. But def not getting 18s. I like the larger amount of choices for tires too.

The local guy definitely wanted to go through what he had on the lot and also what he could realistically get from another dealer before he ordered one.

I gave him my configuration from the online builder and he started narrowing his search and he goes "Oh, there's only one of those within 2000 miles, it's going to a dealer in Florida and it's still in transit from the factory to there." He was happy to order one at that point.

It's nice to see the sun starting to rise for a few weeks before I go to work every morning. Make me not want to go in.

That’s good you had a dealer willing to work with you. It also helps when you the cutsomer knows what the heck you want. Keeps any possible issues from arising down the road of you coming back and saying you’re upset with the truck. And also feel like ordering it helps with any buyers remorse since you have some time to cancel it
