You also get to maintain the certified tow rating of the stock receiver. I am aware that the aftermarket stuff is built just as stout, but I don't want there to ever be an issue if I ever have an incident while towing that could be blamed on me replacing the receiver.

The OEM receiver is generally stronger than the aftermarket versions, rated to tow and haul more. The aftermarket receivers for the Tacoma are class 3 and rated to hold a 500lb tongue weight and 5,000 lb trailer weight, little more for weight distributing. You won’t get the class 4 6,500 lb rating with an aftermarket receiver for the Tacoma.

I will check for the speedbore and I haven’t checked my mailbox ina while lol. I will check for it tomorrow too!

 

I got the bolts out, problem is I got one of the welded nuts with the bolt attached out. So I need an m8 nut welded in one of the crossmembers

Picked up this beast today after selling my fj80 about a month ago. Unfortunately I spent a little more than I wanted to so I won’t be able to do front and rear trail gear bumpers like I wanted too. I hope to make this a nice little class 6 cruiser and use it for shitty weather commuting and Home Depot runs.

 

I hope I see you out there, definatly want to check that out sometime.

Good morning NETW'ers! Happy Monday! Taking my floating holiday today. I would have preferred a warmer day, but it is what it is.

 

This was Windsor this morning. I think Florida had a lot more. Saw a couple cars headed down route 2 that probably had an inch on them.

 

Where are you coming from that you are right there? You must be near me somewhere in Savoy! I'll be heading to that intersection in an hour or so once the insurance company opens up.

My cousin lives in Stamford VT and said he was supposed to get 1-3 inches last night. It's started to snow again pretty good here too.
