The instrument, but maybe it would apply to the storage kind as well lol

Yeah idk how I would have dealt with it if I wasn't born in it. I was brought home in a snowstorm! That said, I wouldn't mind spending part of my life someplace where its warm half the year and warmer the other half lol.

Probably. I know that some of the craft bourbon distilleries are committing sacrilege and are using maple barrels for aging some of their one-offs now, instead of just new-charred American white oak.

    Your Ford didn't have that?

Mine does--think it was part of the XLT power equipment group, which I thought you had.

Nah. Had a rear defroster instead, which honestly for me is handier, since snow from the bed always blows up and deposits itself on the rear glass during a storm. I'd prefer that this truck have that setup as well, but it is what it is. :notsure:

    I have both :D

You can see the grid for the defroster here.

Aha, that's cool. Was not an option in '16, I think. All of the trucks they had on the lot had either a rear slider or a rear defroster, but not both. Some of the more stripped-down XL's had neither.

I think I'd rather have just the slider if I had to choose.

There was never a time in the Tacoma where I wished I had a defroster there, but I love the slider. I've even used it for long pieces of wood trim that I didn't want to hang way out of the bed.

For sure. Makes it hard to keep all of your 'favorites' in stock though. I need to get a larger liquor cabinet because I have such a variety now, haha!

Meh. Sliders are nice during the summer, defrosters are nice during the winter. I have to go to work regardless of the weather, and it seems like I've always got a snowdrift up against my rear window by the time I get home. So for that alone I'd prefer the defroster, especially now that all the windows in a truck roll down, instead of just popping the rear edge out an inch or two.

I'm getting into cocktails which sucks. cause then the amount of stuff you need for a drink triples. Plus I also love beer and there is always new brews to try. I'm working on getting a nice stockpile going.

For sure. Plus you've got to keep all of the ancillaries like vermouth, a variety of bitters, etc.
The trouble with a nice stockpile is that you've got to stay on top of it. I went almost a year without replacing what I used up, figuring I'd just restock the next time I went to New Hamster. Ended up being a $250 trip, lol.

No, because it'd be $130 if you did it in Maine.

Yeah...Maine actually has a spot on the tax form for you to 'volunteer' to pay taxes on stuff that you bought out of state.

I don't blame you. I try not to take our liquor laws for granted. I went to go buy beer in MA at 9am at a Market Basket and was disappointed.

Looks like this year in New England, we're having Winter > extended winter > Summer

Honestly it seems like the last couple of years the whole season schedule got rotated by a month. I had the boat in the water on a 70 degree day the weekend before deer season, we still had snow on the ground here a couple of weeks ago, etc.
