    Morning all!

I like the rear defroster and it has come in handy a few times. Freezing fog or rain and I've put it to use for sure.

Hope everyone enjoyed the beauty weather yesterday, I took the boat out for my first night on Sunapee of the season. Unfortunately the girls weren't interested in wearing bikini tops last night...

Some of you guys complain about the road noise in the Tacomas. I gotta say my Tacoma with mud terrains is quieter than a stock Rav4, at least on i-90 anyways.

Strange. The Rav4 that we had in Utah was very quiet on the highway. And surprisingly capable for some light off-roading in the snow, too.

Edit- No balls north of 90mph, though. Any kind of rise and it downshifted to 4th.

Oh Ok. You had said "when it was broken in" so that threw me off

I'll run it in over the next couple thousand miles. Seems pretty well broken in, but things will loosen up a little bit over time. The truck wasn't 'new' when I bought it but it was so close it's pathetic. As far as I'm concerned, it's a new truck!

Probably bought by somebody who needed a diesel, towed with it once or twice and traded it in on one.

I want to give a huge shout out to Dan @dc welding for hooking me up yesterday. Jason @jpereira2 and I went over yesterday and had a couple of things welded for our trucks and Dan was the man! Thanks Dan, it was nice hanging out with you and Jason yesterday

What year Rav4? My girl's is a 2017. It's quick for a 4-banger, but throttle response sucks. It's a 6-speed, always hesitant to downshift. It has a sport mode though, which does improves throttle response, but then it's hesitant to upshift. If I drive it nice, I get double the MPGs of my Tacoma.

In a way that beats my truck, 6500 miles at purchase. Mine was 3 years old though.

Certainly not a bad vehicle at all. The transmission behavior is my only real complaint about it.

Almost 160K on Cupcake's. After the Tacoma was bought back it only cost about 4000 including registry/tax/etc to buy.

Morning y'all! USPS Informed Delivery tells me I'll be getting a jury duty summons today... Hmm...

Before the truck I had a 2012 Rav4 with the 3.5L V6. Way too much engine for such a small and light car! It certainly had some get-up-and-go! Too bad they stopped offering the V6 after 2012.

This was an 18, an LE, I think

Edit- I take that back, it was an XLE. Mid-grade with some nice options but not top-of-the-line.

Thanks again Dan! I started searching for RV trailers to destroy lol. Wife was a tad annoyed but hey I had fun lol. And I also really want to sell my 32s for 33s and fill those wheel wells lol. @mach1man001 are you worried about 33s when towing heavy? Here's the trailer/floorplan I would probably buy now given the option https://www.venture-rv.com/products/sonic-travel-trailers/SN231VRL.html

No I think with the taller tire and having the trans in 4th it is an OK option. It keeps the revs down a tiny bit
