Definitely! I think I'll pretty much do it, it's just a matter of trying to find someone, or somehow to do it, and as long as the price is "reasonable" sort of speak. I'm sure a shed like that costs a pretty penny, so the fact that I am getting it for free and would just have to likely pay to get it moved is a damn good deal.

The shed looks to be in great shape. The roof just needs to be cleaned up a bit since it has moss on it from being under some trees. It has a door on one of the long sides, and a double door on one of the short sides. I'll have to try and get a pic or two and post them on here at some point.

 

Depending on your lot size, maybe check with your town about your setbacks before you get too involved.

More like if it'd be close to your property lines, find out how close you're allowed to be. Some towns have restrictions on the size of shed you can put in without a building permit, too, but it's usually for larger buildings. Not sure about your area, but in my town anything smaller than 140 square feet you don't need a permit for.

 

AH. I already have a small shed, and this would go next to it, but always good to check.

Mine is a 10ft. setback, so it's 10 ft 1in.
My neighbor is OK, but all it takes is that one hair across his ass. Better to be safe.
Mine is 10x10. Anything larger in my town gets taxed. Gee,no shocker for this place.

 

Yeah, it'd suck to get it moved in & set in place just to find out that it's violating a town reg and having to pay to haul it off again. Or getting slapped with a fine for exceeding structure size limitations without a building permit.

Not sure if you even need to worry about it, but better safe than sorry.

 

My neighbor is mad cool, so I don't think he would have an issue with it. Especially since where this shed would go is in the back sort of speak, and there is nothing there but a few trees, and kind of in the back of his shed sort of speak.

 

Definitely better safe than sorry for sure.

Without looking that's got to be $2000 or more new, easy. Mine was about a grand, 8x8.
