Is it really over a thousand miles? I used to live in Clarksville and I drove to and from Mass a few times. Didn’t feel like over a thousand miles at all. Hell, where I lived in Florida it was only like 1300 miles

    White.

I did a small bit of reading and believe it was a 1977 as it didn’t have the black vertical stripe on the bedsides.

This is down the street from my best friend’s house. I don’t know if it’s technically Freetown or Rochester. Years before he bought the house back when I was in probably junior high I remember this truck parked there rotting away. Street View says it still is.

Wow! One hell of a storm here around 5pm! We had a tornado nearby - lots of trees down around. My house is in the corner of town next to the one had the twister. My sister in the next town over was very close to it or in it and had a window blow in her family room and took the gutter off of the house. She lost a tree too.

I was on my way home and when the wind hit, it lightened and bounced the truck. I had to pull over as the rain and hail were so hard I couldn't see out the windshield.

This shit was no fucking joke, let me tell you.

Picked up my son from daycare, and dropped him off at my in-laws, who already had no power. Wife was already there. Took me a while just to get from daycare to my in-laws, which is normally only about 5-10 minutes.

Was getting texts from two of my neighbors that shit was BAD in Brookfield. One wasn't home, but said his FIL was at his house, had a tree come down and take out his car and part of the garage. Other neighbor said I had a "nice surprise" for when I got home. Big trees down in my yard, but couldn't see if house was hit or not. Panic ensued... This was happening when I was trying to get home. Road was closed off, so went to in-laws. Grabbed the wife, and tried to go home to asses damages, and get clothes, etc. Took almost two hours to get home. Every road I took was closed off, traffic was fucking crazy. Almost had a fucking panic attack because my mind was racing and fearing the worst. When I say shit was bad, it was fucking BAD. Brookfield already got declared a disaster and state of emergency. Tons of trees down, downed power lines, houses taken out, cars, the works. I bet the entire town doesn't have power, or if not the entire town, at least almost all of it. I didn't even see my entire road because part of it was closed off. Thankfully nothing hit my house, but I have some massive clean up to do. Huge trees down, all over my yard, ripped down power lines... Called out of work for tomorrow already so I can go home and clean up as much as possible, to be ready for WHENEVER they start to get to the power lines, which who knows when that will be. At my parents house right now, who live in Danbury, and looks like nothing happened here. Probably going to camp out here for quite some time due to no power, and the kiddos.

This was some scary fucking shit. Wife cried histerically just because of the amount of trees down, not even because the house got hit. It's really overwhelming. I'm at a fucking loss for words my self. I don't know what to think or feel to be honest. Relieved on one side because it's just "yard cleanup", but mad/sad because of my neighbor's house getting hit and the scale of things as far as how bad it is. I'll likely be off TW all day tomorrow... stay safe everyone if you were hit by this.
