Morning. Good sleeping weather last night

 

Ya made it real hard to wake up ...That Sun is too bright .. going to need more coffee .. already..

That's exactly what happened. We had some wind and a brief <15 minute period of heavy rain, a couple of lightning strikes and no real damage.

Morning, hope all is well after those storms rolled thru. They were pretty quick by me with no damage for me.

The Jeep went into "I" yesterday. Hopefully it goes thru inspection without any issues

 

Glad your house is safe, but really as long as your family is safe that's the important part. We have insurance for houses; they can be replaced.
Want to bring me some firewood once you get those trees worked up?

Yeah, different truck then. This was a yellow ?'78? with black lower and upper paint.

 

Honestly as seldom as I need a cap, I really wish they made similar-quality aluminum caps for these trucks. Would make removal/installation a LOT easier on my own. But the only aluminum ones I've been able to find are the contractor's caps, the ones with no windows, screens, etc. or they're the gommy 80's designs. I want something that is basically a Leer 100 series (color-matched, form-fitted to the truck, insulated, sliding windows with screens, etc), but made out of aluminum instead of heavy-ass fiberglass.

I hear ya. Jason caps used to make them but I'm not sure they're available around here anymore. Every time I've checked for their website, it says it's down or can't be located so they may have gone under. I'll likely bite the bullet and go with the ARE. I like the looks of that cap the best and Leer or Century will be within $100 or so once I build them out so I might as well just get the cap I like the best.

 

Very windy and a lot of rain for about an hour yesterday afternoon. No damage anywhere.

Power didn't go out, but I managed to incorrectly place my phone on the charger so it died overnight... Woke up an hour and a half late and had to go to the gym at 6 instead of 5...

 

I swear I'm gonna pull all of my hair out by the end of the day/week

 

Not a problem for me. I lost all my hair long ago and, what's left, I just shave off twice a week.

 

I may just go back to a buzz cut for this reason

I forgot to mention that this morning I won from my local radio station tickets for a white water rafting trip

Just pulled the trigger on a Bilstein kit from @HeadStrong Off-Road
