    Morning all! Happy Hump Day


    Mine is the same way, and I haven't fertilized it or anything (of course, the chickens do a fair bit of that for me). It's growing so fast that when I mowed on Sunday (after less than a week's grow time) I had to raise the reel mower to the highest setting it'd go to, mow, then drop it back down and mow again. A couple more days and I'd have been out there like

    I'll be on Richardson Lakes camping at a remote site. Fishing salmon and trout all day, drinking whiskey by the fire at night!

    Interesting. I guess Ford does well with the ecoboost, why not. I will not be buying one of those though. I get 21.9 mpg in my V8 6 speed. Good enough for me.

    I follow TFL Truck on Youtube and saw that a couple days ago. The initial reviews of the engine are pretty good. It supposedly feels like a diesel as far as power delivery. Surprisingly, it still has cylinder deactivation... GM is supposed to be releasing a 3.0L inline 6 cylinder diesel for 2019 also.

    Same here, that I4 turbo engine came out of nowhere. When the TFL guy went to GM's test track, he said they wouldn't even let their cameras in, GM had their own camera guys shoot it, edit out what they didn't want people to see and then gave them the footage. Apparently lots of secret stuff going on over at GM these days... They did a good job keeping that one under wraps. The new GMs actually look pretty promising. All things on a hinge (doors, tailgate and hood) are aluminum, 2 new engine options (assuming they'll keep the V8 option also) and I actually like the new body style.

    I wish Ford would do ads that directly target GM's crazy marketing department.

    Like flashbacks to their making fun of "aluminum man" then, oh wait, a large portion of their truck is now aluminum.
    Then ad making fun of the tailgate step--then the unveiling of GM's own multi-function tailgate that works as a step.
