Uhh, leave me the keys to your truck. I'll come and get it, paint the cap, and return it. Mud brown ok?

 

Stuck at work until probably 9:00 tonight, and I couldn't sleep so I ended up here at 5:30 instead of coming in a little later like a normal person would.

But, at least I get to take down a couple servers that I've been needing to while no one is here.

I hit all of those on my drive in! One side of the hill was nice and sunny, come over the top and fog so thick you couldn't see 20'!

 

I'll have to tell my neighbor to keep an eye on you hoodlums. LOL.

Happy Friday eve for most of you by the way. Kids already awake of course... So much for sleeping in. Youngest cried her eyes out because she wanted mommy, when she was leaving. I'm pretty sure my youngest hates me.

 

Well I do know a repo guy and a couple tow guys so definitely don't need keys!

 

Nuno's truck is F'd but I like where this is going!

 

Why not color match the truck to the cap?

 

racing stripes the same color as the cap, problem solved

 

Two-tone, we'll paint the top half of the cab red to match the cap.

 

Everyone can bring a can of spray paint even just whatever is left in the garage. Could be interesting

 

Don't worry, Nuno. I picked up a cap last night for the Ram that's 'Mineral Grey' instead of 'Maximum Steel' so it doesn't match either, and I could give two sh*ts because I'm only going to have it on there when I'm camping and it only cost me $500 for a Leer 100XL

I figure if the color difference ever pisses me off I'll just have it Line-X'd black so I don't have to worry about the kayaks gouging up the finish, lol.

Damn, that's an awesome deal! I've been keeping my eye out for a used one but the body style is too new. The cap on my F150 was the wrong shade of blue. I ran it for 5 years, you could really only tell in certain light conditions. I don't think they even realized it when I traded it in.

That is one advantage with the Ram; they've been around for a few years with this body style, and the bed dimensions for the 2500's match to the 1500's, which broadens the market a bit.

 

I have a green mica I think cap for my black sand peal truck and it blends surprisingly well I honestly haven’t been in a rush to paint it
