Anyone here have any interest in a whole bunch of S scale model train stuff from the 60s?

I've got trains, tracks, trestle, and more! All in OK and working condition, but it does show it's age.

I'm not looking to make money off it, just want it to go to someone who cares!

Spent a couple days in Nantucket for work and spotted this beast with TRD pros... interesting look.

I really need to make some room in the basement lol. Still waiting on a contractor to come by at some point before i start making room agian.

 

Usually I wait for the kids to be done, but I decided the last day of school was close enough for me to start to transition to summer clothes. Half the teachers are wearing shorts anyway, and I only went as far as jeans and a t-shirt.

Perks of summers in a school district.

Morning all!
The birds had a visitor after curfew last night. Fortunately he tipped over a trash barrel (empty) first so I was already awake and armed when he started digging at the wire of the chicken tractor that the broilers are in. I had time to swap out the 9mm for the .22 and get back outside in time to keep him from getting any of them, so all he got for his trouble was a headache and I (probably) didn't have any of the neighbors calling the cops (since the .22 is a LOT quieter)

Foot for scale. He's smaller than the one that came 'visiting' in broad daylight a couple of years ago, but still a good-sized male.


But between the midnight wakeup call and temporary coop repair I'm a little this morning.

Espresso was pretty good! Also, no way to the cigarettes. Went this long without smoking them why start now.

 

I opted out of just plugging him with the 9mm because the 124gr +P HP's I keep it loaded with would have meant mopping up raccoon pieces instead of just grabbing him by the tail and tossing him out of the way.

 

Right, do you want to pick up one dead raccoon or dozens of them?

 

Exactly. Plus the .22 makes a lot less noise, to keep the neighbors happy.
