I actually don't own that one any more, which is crazy because it's a favorite. That's why it didn't make the list

Favorite 4th of July movies from list above: Sandlot but its just a summer movie overall. The Patriot is an all time favorite movie cause 'merica and Independence Day since its actually more related to the 4th.

Also I am a male PA student on rotation and I am currently doing OBGYN. I guess a lot of females don't want a male provider and DAMN AM I BORED :annoyed:

NOOO He is just trying to get you lost, there is nothing worth seeing. Never ever go that way, the winters are a killer and the black flies are even worse.

At least tell others this, no matter how great you figure out it is.

Your location in your details should say Northeastern Masshole not Southern Maine

Nope, no freaking way, bad enough I have to know Maine once was part of Mass.

I'm actually in more of the southern Quebec in the summer, it's like the Canada's Summer retreat, well next door (OOB) is at least

Depends, I don't want to see the great parts of Maine turn into all those other great places people have found.

Guess you could say it's selfish, or you could say I just want what it is preserved.

You guys should go stop by your local library, often they'll have discounted passes for stuff like this that residents can use for the day.

Yep, that's why I go to Moosehead.

I don't understand how folks come to OOB to camp. But we need the tourism

Not sure why they do, either. Nova Scotia has warmer water and the beaches are just as nice; I've been up there quite a few times over the years.

I usually hit the National Parks and the beaches, do some fossil hunting, etc.
I agree that it's nothing exciting, but it beats the hell out of OOB. :notsure:

We do that a lot and get great deals. We were given the family pass for Christmas so it’s free for the summer.

Anyone else watching the Columbia v England game? It’s turning into the reason people hate to watch soccer. Ref is out of his mind, every other play is a yellow card and the dives are becoming ridiculous. It started with the Columbia team just being dirty, now both sides are diving anytime they come close to being challenged. With the number of yellow cards, whatever team does advance is going to have to field their second string!

That's what you get when a pair of 3rd world countries battle it out

    I'm being facetious

It’s unfortunate that the prices have to be so high but the overhead for zoos is incredibly expensive and most hemorrhage money throughout the winter in order to keep animals and staff maintained.

My FIL used to run the zoo at forest park in Springfield and his best friend runs southwick zoo and my BIL runs franklin zoo.

Regardless of the price of admission the wife and I always try to go visit zoos when we travel just as a way to support.
