I'm planning on splitting some firewood when I get home tonight, but after I finish that up and take a shower I'll probably have a mint julep or two. My mint is still growing like crazy, so I might as well use it while I can.

Requires more work. I've already got bourbon, mint, and simple syrup. I don't have club soda or a lemon & a lime, and I'm not feeling a trip to the grocery store on a Friday. :notsure:

Anybody interested in a set of brand new tires/wheels lug nuts and sensors? Some stuff came up and just trying to get what I have into them 1652. Never been mounted. Tires are Falken Wildpeaks 265/70r17 and wheels are the gray procomp predator. 17x8.5 with 0 offset. I'll grab some pics when I get home if someone is interested. It is a set of 5 wheels 5 tires.[IMG]

    Wut.
As mentioned above, they're absurdly simple to make and I've already got all of the ingredients.
And they're delicious, so why not?

Maybe I should ask what your husband will be drinking tonight, Noel?

I'm just fuckin with ya! Sounds good with home grown, fresh mint. When are you gonna make your own moonshine?

I don't usually have any trouble with bugs, actually. Maybe the bourbon keeps them away. Or the peat smoke in the scotch, lol :notsure:

Probably when I get a still

I don't make my Juleps too sweet, and I use whole ice cubes in a rocks glass instead of crushed ice. Generally it's 6-8 muddled mint leaves, two shots of bourbon, and 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of simple syrup.

I trend more towards Glenmorangie & Laphroaig, or JW Red or Dewars if I'm feeling cheap or am mixing them

Well, I'm all out of Bourbon at the house. It'll be a G&T for me (or a few). A good friend of mine gave me some car parts to paint, so after I tie one on, we'll see how I do...
