Heading up 81-84-90-290-495-home on Saturday from northern VA. Anyone know if there have been interstate closings due to the flooding in PA? Was hoping to stop for gas outside of Harrisburg and Scranton. uHaul trailer and a full bed isn't going to help gas mileage much.

It works well - downloadable videos right through wifi to my phone. Video is pretty clear and the sound is muffled a bit from the rain or wind noise. It has a built in battery and stays on for a certain period or in triggered mode. Runs off a simple USB Micro run into my cig lighter.

 

Have fun! One of these days I should get back over there during the week, I live in the next town over.

 

I've got the C1 Pro, similar model I think the main difference between the two is GPS. It can be a little quirky at times. For example, I connected to mine a couple of days ago just to check on it and found it hadn't been recording anything since July 4th. I formatted the SD card and did a hard power off (pulled the plug), when it came back on it was recording as normal.

 

Morning all. That rain seems to have moved into the area around here last night; my duck pond went from 'very low' to 'very full' just from the rain we got last night. I'm sure it's probably pouring through the overflow by now.

 

I've been contemplating getting a dash cam, there are so many different types out there with different options. I usually get overwhelmed after 15/20 minutes to research and say "I don't really need this now. I'll come back to it another time." and hope something doesn't come up where I would have needed it.

 

I have shopped for them so many times. Get confused, give up, and then end up going back to it later

 

Picked up a new toy yesterday for my Stihl Kombi...The HL 135 hedge trimmer attachment. This thing is amazing. LOVE IT...I have 10Ft hedges that are out of control and I am done with the whole ladder/scaffolding/LEAN and climb..Tested it out on a lil' old shrub

I bought it for my truck. The suction cup holds solid. It sits next to my Fastlane behind the rear view mirror. I routed the cable up the right side from the 12v plug. It has a usb port on the back of the plug in the lighter so you don't lose the power.

It has auto on/recording. Great image quality. It uses a removable micro SD that stores your files as videos and then has a folder called "EVENT" where if it detects force/bumps it puts a copy into that folder. It has a one button feature that you tap that puts the current recording into the event folder so if something happens while you are driving and you want to save it you just tap the bottom right button. It has a wifi app that you can use to view your videos/offload them to your phone in your car by logging into the camera like a wifi hub.
Here is a video it grabbed of a fox going through my yard when I was in my driveway..I was like "Hey, that's a fox with a fresh dinner in it's mouth..." but I thought oh, man I wish I had a picture...and then OH, my dash cam!
