No, we are just sick of them spending tons of money and putting themselves in our way, so we have to keep stepping on, I mean over them.

And here we go, living in the past using history to make yourself fell better. We are in the now, not back in the every thing we did in the past.

Funny that you say that because I was watching game 4 with my Dad. At the end of the 8th inning he was all upset saying the Sox were going blow another chance in the playoffs and I remember saying but Dad this game isn't over yet! And look what they did!

Numbers don't lie. The Yankees are where they are, and were where they were, money wise or however it may be, thanks to savvy investing, planning, and WINNING. That's why they have $$$ to spend. Not their fault the stinky sox couldn't do what they did.

And yes, history measures greatness in ANY sport. That is what makes teams and players great. That is what makes franchises into great franchises loved by fans from not just their "local" area, but from anywhere.

 

meh all these sports are pathetic - to see athletes, artists and actors make more money in one year than the entire life of someone who fights and protects our country - that's when you know the world is fucked up.
