Every dealer is different, but they might take a couple hundred off the appraisal for something big. You'd probably do the same if you worked out a deal on a car and it had different parts when you picked it up

Some items really have no impact on the value, some items make a difference

Completely understand that perspective. I’ll have to call them I guess cause there was no mention of what I can take or keep

When I turned in my leased 16 for the 18 I bought I took out my bed mat. When I dropped off my 16 the sales rep goes "Oh, you took the bed mat out?". I just looked at him and said yeah I did, it's a leased truck that didn't come with the bed mat when I picked it up so I'm taking it. He gave me an odd look but I didn't care nor did it matter at all.

When I traded my 09, was working two dealerships, both gave me a very simuilar trade in quote. Because it was ordered, one said there trade was only good if I stayed under a certain milage and the cap was included. The other dealership, which I bought from didn't say a word when the cap was not there.

Like the seat covers aren't going to make a big difference. Stuff like side steps and roof rack have desirability. These days dealerships aren't afraid of the lifts and tries anymore

If your truck is still under warranty and can be certified, I am pretty sure that the dealer would want it stock... assuming you are trading at a toyota dealership.

When I picked up my used taco a couple of years ago, i was looking at low mileage trucks with warranties. I am pretty sure one of the sales guys told me that they had to take off aftermarket accessories and remote starts to sell them used. Then again... sales guys lie, and i forget stuff... so who knows. If it were me, i'd give them a call.

It would be worth your time to try to find some take off wheels when you trade in your truck. You could probably sell the scs's for pretty close to what you paid for them. Hell, i'd be interested!

I remember you saying that, it was just amazing how much they stepped up with that vehicle!
Nice! I'm trying to work a deal on a set of those wheels and tires now. I'm not really liking the stock tires, I don't think they'll do well once the white stuff starts flying. That's a nice looking truck! If he has any questions on simple mods, let me know!

I don't like feeding the gas tank I have now. I'd hate to have to feed that one.
