If the topic at hand is tents, I love my marmot limelight 3.

    @Chasespeed

    22-1/8".

The x bar sits about 1/4" lower than the top of the side bars

That is top of the bed rail, to the top of the cross bars on the cab rack? Cool....

Have that Hondo unholy mount . Position is convenient and awkward at the same time. Like is so far though.

    I use this ..
    Screenshot_20181227-143224_Amazon Shopping.jpg

Works great. My phone, or hers, or even my work phone.

Yup. So from the top of the bed side rail to the x member is 21-7/8 if that's what you're shooting for. The truck has funny angles. So I couldn't tell you if it had pitch or not. I just ran a straight edge off the prinsu rack to the tape

    That's perfect....

If I can't find a cap that I can sacrifice soon, I will be snagging a bed rack, but, also need to add a cab rack. No RTT or anything. Just want to be able to have the full length of bed and cap, to carry stuff(pipe, etc) as well as canoe/yak, and blah blah.

    Thanks

Nice! Building the cab rack yourself ?

Matching a bed rack should be a piece of cake.

I think a cap is a great option for me as well.
I can strap my kayaks on top.

No. I have no shop currently to build anything.
There is enough good stuff out there to work with.

Just going to have to make sure I acquire all the right stuff from the get-go. No plan yet. That is what I am working towards.

In MA I think they want your birth certificate or other proof of lawful residence. They already have mine...I needed it when I got my license way back, but from what I understand they want it again.

If it lets me renew online for a normal one next time around, I'm just doing that. I don't fly anyway. I'm much more likely to drive to Canada sometime, and at that point I'd need a passport anyway.

Not as bad as you might think, I had a bitch of a time without my original birth cert but that's not their fault

    So much for my vacation...

My wife and the baby are sick. The baby was supposed to go to daycare today, tomorrow and Monday which meant I could tear the house apart to clean and paint with the wife's help. Now I've got both of them underfoot. We've got nothing in the house for food and I've blown the Christmas budget and our weekly food budget already.

I've been in a mood all day.

I went to the Plymouth one..had to go to the probate court anyway for some paperwork, got done pretty fast. Brockton is my usual stop.

I’ve had great luck at the natick one on the pike rest stop. As long as you go at like 10AM on a Tuesday or Wednesday; never a wait.

Just get the passport card, it's like 35 bucks and I keep mine in my wallet.
