Yeah I’m going to join a new range in Ware this year. I think I have been a member at like 5 ranges locally

the sportsman’s club is right down the street from me but I haven’t signed up yet. Kind of nervous to bring some of my guns out since they’re from Florida and they’re not exactly “Mass friendly”

I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to get at the radio on these trucks. It's definitely the easiest radio removal I've ever done.

Ahhh rural life, I shoot in my driveway. When I move I will shoot in my backyard :)

That said, ranges are fun, and a good place for people to socialize in adult situations outside of tacoworld.

    @m603holden

    What ya doing in there?

We just hosted a dinner for the MIL's bday. SIL etc came too.. Luckily we all are on the same page on getting home early and everyone already left. Time to relax.

@Dgibson529 you are smart. I sold off my wares before I came back north and I regret it constantly.

I got rid of my non-mass friendly the first time I moved up from Texas. Never again.

    I have the Hondo mount.

I was eyeballing, that(one you have), and one similar.. but, toying with switching up the truck already, so no permanent mods as of now.....

    Looks good

Thanks ! I gotta get the ham radio on it and do a quick detach for the GPS tablet. The thing is rugged. Huge pain the the fucking ass to install. But nice.

What ya thinking of replacing it with? Any particular reason? I was recently looking at different cars and I can't find a car I'd rather have than my taco under 70k. And that is way out of my price range, so I've decided to start doing some more permanent mods, starting with a full stereo replacement.

Just passed mine two days ago.

I am very curious to see how this goes with your turbo setup . Hopefully for your sake, it goes well!

Ya I’d never sell what I have that’s for sure. I guess there’s some modifications I could make to get them in compliance. One thing I was told by a retired state trooper during the class for my LTC was that because my weapons were purchased in Florida while I was a resident of Florida and then transported them here and became a resident of mass, there’s no legal obligation to register them with the state. It’s a gray area but I can see how that could cause some complications as they’d be viewed as unregistered

I wouldn't bring them to a range locally but that's just opinion. I have been at the range once when a local PD showed up to check shit out. The other time I was at Chicopee when a guy brings out a full automatic AR, ripping rounds down range and a fellow member calls the police. He clearly had his licenses and nothing happened but never know who's gonna cause an issue.

Thats just it. Im happy with my Taco.

Debating on switching to a 6mt OR w/o any options.

There have been lots of instances where stuff is failing(BSMs, front diffs, 3rd brake light, etc), and the dealers are fusing warranty, blah blah.

And my dealer seems to be one of the problem dealers. Time will tell.
Right now, financially, it doesnt make ANY sense, I would lose on that deal... big time.

My trans seems to have settled out, and doesnt irritate me like it used to, other than you know, not having a 3rd pedal.

So, just figure, getting one without all the bells and whistles, I wont be stuck with being irritated about switches in place that dont do anything, blah blah.

Nope exactly my thoughts. I wouldn’t bring them out publicly. I mean I don’t have anything full auto but I just don’t want to get hassled for anything
