I feel ya on that sleep... A plow truck took out a parked car in front of my house this morning at like 2-3am... flashing blue lights out front of my house all night until my 5am alarm clock.

Morning all! Happy snow day, lol. Roads were crap this morning; not sure mine had even been plowed, and it was all churned up from traffic so it was pretty unpredictable. Nice light fluffy stuff, though, where it hadn't been driven on.
Lawmakers butting in where they don't belong again. Some idiot in the legislature here in Maine wants to make it a law that all cars have to have either Winter or All-Season tires.

Odds are, they have no idea what constitutes either. Of all of the vehicles I've seen off of the roads during the winter over the years, I've never seen one that was running summer slicks. These days it's typically an SUV, usually an AWD model, with all season tires.

Better than Can-a-duh who mandates studded snows for some provinces. And I assume that if anything passes, it will be good for you in the tire biz. Confusion of the laws usually means businesses can rape the public pretty good.

Meh. Pretty much everybody in Maine runs something that's M&S rated anyway. Not a whole lot of vehicles running around on summer-only rubber up here except for tourists, and they're gone by the time the snow flies

I went with XPel clear bra... wound up costing me about as much as my headlights were new but I'm curious to see how well it holds up through off roading. It was more of an experiment than anything.

If you don't like the snow and cold why not move further south and east? Like around the Seekonk/Swansea area. They don't get as much of it as you do

the tops of my stock headlights are fading after 5 years and I want to buy some of those fancy LED DRL aftermarket headlights but didn't want that happening so I figure when I get them if It can be prevented then I will.

I got great neighbors. I just now woke up and looked out my window to see what I need to do and my driveway has been cleared of snow. I just got to get out and do the walkway and the deck ,light cleanup.
Going to have to buy the captain a six pack.
I usually end up drinking a couple with him .
It’s a totally unnecessary at buying a beer and all but is what good neighbors deserve

I have kinda been casually looking at houses in Lakeville/surrounding areas. The cost is insane.
If I move again, and stay in the area, it needs to be closer to my primary service area. These 1.5-2hour commutes to jobsites are wearing on me......
