I can relate. I was in a "high level" job that paid well but also came with a lot of stress and bullshit. I was part of a management team that made sure bonus levels were met while the workers who put the $$ in our paychecks did not get a raise. I finally had enough and at age 59, switched jobs. Took a $12k pay cut to go to a job that I enjoyed and the stress was a lot less.

Ugh, more work than I want to do right now. Bikes been on the side stand for 7mo, the water pump just started to weep past the gasket.

The white spacers are just put on there by CVJ for protection during shipping.

The red boots are CVJ high angle boots.

The axles are CVJ rebuilt OEM axles with high angle inner boots and OEM outer boots.

That’s the best (and most expensive) way to have axles built.

I know all of this because those were my spare axles.

With shipping to NJ, and without a core, $350-ish each.

I never had a core to send back, because I was replacing broken axles.

That's not terrible, but I'm pulling the trigger on the boots for now.

I did that once too. No need to buy complete OEM axles if yours are still good.
