Speaking of birthdays, I turn 35 this month. It feels a little surreal, if I'm honest. 25 and 30 didn't affect me that much, but 35 for some reason is giving me some big "WTF?" moments while I try to wrap my brain around it

I don't think 'care' is the right word; it'll just be another day when it happens. I'm just having a hard time wrapping my head around where the last 17 years went since I turned 18, haha! They flew!

Yeah, first house the home inspectors were terrible. No one is going to catch everything, but now I look back and think there's absolutely no way they should have missed what they did. It wasn't terribly expensive stuff to deal with, but it was in plain sight. For instance, I think they saw a newer furnace and didn't even bother to look at it. The first time we had it cleaned, my oil guy looks at it for 5 seconds and tells me it was installed by someone who had no idea what they were doing. Flue pipe was going downhill, no fireproof sheetrock was installed, and the oil line wasn't secured in any way.

Keep the report, fix every little thing on it while you have the house if you plan on selling at some point. We did that and when we sold the buyer's inspector came up with nothing but a missing GFCI plug and that the windows were old and should be replaced.

You switch to metric, lol! It'll take me a long time to even get to a 125/90D16 convenience spare

REminds me of when I had my roof done. My house is an original 1954 ranch surrounded on 3 sides by additions so the center of the roof is the oldest...The guy did the estimate and capped it with "And if we find anything that's going to cost more...like needing to replace some plywood we'll show you and charge by the sheet..."
So they scrape off the old shingles and then he comes down and invites me up onto the roof to show me something...Uh oh..
We climb up the ladder and walk onto the roof and he says "Stay on the beams, I've marked them" and then says "You've got some interesting plywood for your roof here..." and then holds his hammer out at arms length and drops it on the roof and it GOES RIGHT THROUGH the wood...It was 1/4" plywood for the roof. It just so happened we'd had the house on the market that winter so I was clearing the roof of snow...but the guy couldn't believe the roof never caved in...I needed 8 sheets of new plywood...another $800...
This is what the roof looked like that winter AFTER I shoveled it off because it was so much snow..

I figured since it was weight we were only bothering with section width

Psh. You need to fit 37's or bust.

    After that? 44's :D

Edit - Word on the street is that I can fit 35's under my truck without a lift or any cutting. Of course, then I wouldn't be able to get into my garage. Or car washes...
Life is about compromises, I guess.

Says the guy with the full size haha. It would be much easier for you to fit 37s!

I just don't want to tub anything.

Yeah, with a 4" kit and a different set of wheels I could fit 37's pretty easily. No cutting or anything. But then I'd need a stepladder to get in; I've only got a 29 inch inseam
