Used to live right down the road. If you're going to a Fenway bar before the game, I'd recommend going a couple blocks farther from he park to Queensbury Street and drinking at Thorntons Grille. Much quieter, neighborhood bar feel, but great selection at half the price of anything on Lansdowne.

I used to be a regular there, as well as at Lansdowne Pub and The Arc/Ri Ra.

I used to go to about 10 games a season. Haven't been in a few years though. We would always get Pavillion Standing Room tickets, it's a great place to watch the game from and there are a few different areas you can walk around to watch the game from. Plus you don't have to pay for an uncomfortable seat!

I remember going there back in the '70's and waiting in line for the $1.00 bleacher seats.
My first game there is forever etched in my brain. Walking out with my dad and seeing that bright green field for a Sox/Yankees game. Williams and Mantle!

My suppliers always give me seats and they are usually pretty good ones too.

Mine isn't the latch, the doors open and close fine. It's the power lock. I can lock and unlock the door manually without a problem, but in the extreme cold the power lock does nothing. Doesn't even make a noise like it's trying. I suspect the theory about moisture in a wiring connector might be closest to the cause for that issue.

I'd rather just get a dog from a street vendor or maybe the pizza place right across from the Cask..forget the name. I have been to 2 games in the past 10 years, both times I got free tix. I'd rather go to a Brockton Rox game, 10 minutes from home and cheap seats/food

I get my Red Sox fix real good once a year when we go to Baltimore. My buddy does work for Marriott properties so he gets us real cheap rooms. The most expensive tickets in Camden Yards is like $79. It cost us less to fly to Baltimore, stay overnight and get tixs then it does just for parking and tickets at Fenway. They have such a great park there and it's easily 70% Boston fans, I just don't get it.

Morning - back in Boston after 3 hectic days of 3-4 hours driving each day bouncing around the greater Sourthern Cali region. Got to drive a 2019 Ford Fusion AWD Titanium. I'm sold on it - I want one, but not for a msrp of 37k....

Morning errybody. Happy Thirsty Thursday!

It's always dangerous renting a nice car on vacation; I made the mistake of renting a Mustang when we went to Seattle, and shortly after that the GF bought one. Rented an up-optioned Rav4 when we went to Utah, and now she's lining up to trade her perfectly functional '04 for one, probably in the next year or so.

Thank god we've never rented anything that I fell in love with; I trade vehicles enough as it is

Sometimes when I go out of MA I forget that 'happy hour' was actually created for cheaper alcohol drinks. Thinking back to when I was in college in Pittsburgh, they had some insane happy hour/nightly deals on beer.

Back in school days (02-06) Hooligans in Fitchburg had $2 high life pitchers sometimes we splurged for the $4 lite.
