Had myself a draft North Korean beer today - granted I don't know shit about beer and could care less for it, it was drinkable and I didn't die... I have now seen and gotten a taste of North Korea.... haha

So I built my first ever bridge today. It's ugly, and I'm sure @Noelie84 has some good ideas on how I could do it better, but everyone's got to start somewhere! Honestly, I was given a few tips on how to make it better, but I didn't do them. I have two more I will finish tomorrow or Thursday and maybe I will implement them there. Most likely I won't. If I get 5-10 years out of these I will be happy. Logs for supports, 2x6 PT for cross members. The stream all 3 are going over is basically a seasonal stream. I am not worried about it washing away, and if it ever was going to do so, I would have plenty of warning. First bridge is the only one with a slope, and used the worst logs, so I am expecting a little better results from the other two. Now some pics.

Looks like the only nice day for yard work before the weekend. Gonna get out soon and do all my mowing and weed eating for the week, usually try to wait another day or two so its fresh for Saturdays.

Then try to finish my bridges today, got a buddy from up from CT this afternoon for the bruins game tonight and he has offered to help out, so should be able to get them finished.

I've built a lot of snowmobile bridges over the years and that looks fine! Of course I never was the designer, just free labor. Now put 4 pieces of wood strapping running the length of it for carbide guides:D
