Don't do it, lol. I'm glad to have gotten all of that crap done; most of it's been on the 'to-do' list for a while now. But honestly I'd rather have burned vacation time at the beach or camping or something.

@Chasespeed stopped by the local Mahindra dealer today, checked out some 38hp tractors. Looked pretty good and they are the closest non-deere dealer by far. Getting some quotes sent over on a few different options soon. They actually make a v-plow for it, so I can plow with my front and carry a blower on the back...I'm going to feel like the snow king!:santa::santa::santa:

Damn!! Any pics? Glad to hear you aren't dead

Holy S! Ya'll get a good batch of meth up there last week?:rofl::rofl:

But seriously, nice work and I'm sure it's rewarding to have all that done!:hattip:

Ha! No, that's my normal pace. I could have done a complete driveway on the lower lot, if the guy running the loader at the pit had been on his A-game. As it was, I spent an average of probably 10-15 minutes per visit just sitting there waiting for him to come load me up. Oh well. I only need another 5 or 6 yards to finish what I need, and I can just borrow the GF's dad's smaller dump trailer (6X10/10k) to finish up with.
I also took Saturday afternoon & evening off to go to the Blues Festival over in Rockland, so I lost some time there, but I only had the trailer Thurs & Fri anyway.

Wow, hardly have gotten a chance to get on here then I come across this. Geesh, I’ve been meaning to ask how the new job was going. Hope it’s good other than that.

So....I caught a seagull while I was out on my break earlier. His feathers were soaked from the rain storm we had earlier, so no flying. I chased him down and grabbed him, and he went from 20 seconds of thrashy and bite-y to totally docile. I set him down on the rock to take his picture and he just sat there while I did it. He chilled out in a sort of trance for a few minutes, then got up, ruffled his feathers around, hopped down and trotted off. :notsure:

Don't you love it when you have to go back to work just to get some time to rest?

Go camping yet? If not got anything planned yet. We've got new Hampshire in August and mystic in September. Then probably winterize and in for repairs

One of the very few perks I have living in coa$tal ct is access to good clamming.
Since I sold my boat a couple years back, I'm limited to shore.
Last two evenings, I caught the full moon tide and got these guys.
Couple dozen quahogs in the mix that I'll cook up this weekend and vacuum seal for future stuffies.
    I'll miss these if I move North,lol.

@mach1man001 I got hit in the back of my head with the side door of the recycle/trash truck door. Guy was swinging it shut and didn’t see me and I ended up with a mild concussion. A couple of days off per order of the doctor and light duty for two days after I’ve been there for one I feel your pain
