    One time I started a header install at midnight. That was a poor decision. I told the wife I’d be done with the project today. Technically as long as it’s before everyone wakes up Saturday it counts, right?

    not any trees near the house... when they built it they clearcut the lot... nearest tree is about 100ft in the back yard, otehr than the 15ft japanese maple I planted out front 9 years ago, (it was 7ft tall then)supposed to grow to 25x25ft...

    I previously had a fan on the stock cooler, it helped in traffic but otherwise was useless. Now I have a tru cool 4589 I believe, much larger than stock and until now haven't been this hot.
    Yup 27ft roughly 5k lbs
    An suv is definitely next, it'll be better for the dogs. If they made a new excursion I'd be all over it but right now it's looking like an Expedition. I would like a new Sequoia to be released though

    I used 2155 Temflex for the connectors as well.

    I have to believe a piece of the wire pierced the heatshrink after I cable tied the main harness down. I better insulated all my connections to be safe.

    all the time, i bought rolls of it.. but when you must use electrical tape to seal up split loom, or make a harness split.. use good tape that doesnt break apart, and dry up after 6 months.. liquid electrical tape is nice in some situations too.. not a lot in automotive, but maybe if you want to seal up the back of a unrated switch...

    My entire loom is wrapped along the underside of the truck with good overlap. I try not to screw around with electric since fire is bad.
