Wish I could fire him out, it’s under my deck. Tried all the internetz solutions. Cayenne cocktail at the holes, human hair, human piss, Fox urine etc... I need to ventilate this fucker but need to keep it legal.

 

So did this two days ago when bringing supplies to make steps into woods. Mirrors were folded and my back up sensors didn’t work, neither did my eyes

If it's any consolation (and I know your feeling on GM vehicles) I think with the 61k on my '17 Sierra that I already have a wheel bearing going!

 

Anyone happen to know the size of the bolt that secures the back of the driver side exhaust manifold to this bracket? I noticed that I was missing it last night when I took my skid plates off and I think it could be the source of a rattle I have that sounds like a loose heat shield.

 

It's probably a 14mm head, as far as thread size goes I'm not sure, maybe m10 or m8?

Yeah I gotta crawl under mine as well and search out a rattle, really don't feel like having to take off my IFS skid but sometimes that's the way she goes.

 

If I had to take a guess, M8x1.25 or M10x1.25. It looks like a bolt hasn't been in there awhile, you might want to clean out the threads with a tap.

 

That's step 1. I might try to yank the bolt out of the passenger side and match it, but I'm afraid it might be rusted solid in there. I have what I think is the right P/N (90119A0145) if anyone has a way to find out what size it is from that, none of the online parts departments have yielded anything useful that I've found.

 

I just went to google and eBay, and I couldn't find a size for that bolt from the part number (it does fit a Sienna exhaust, for whatever that's worth). But if you have both of those tap sizes I mentioned, one of them should thread right in, and then you will know what bolt you need.
If not, taking the bolt out from the other side shouldn't be too difficult, as I was able to take out the header bolts on my '05, and they looked like they were on the Titanic!

Or tractor supply, pay by the pound instead of by the bolt/pack

 

Figured that out a few months back, that's damn handy for grade 8 bolts when you only need a few.

 

That sucks! I'm not sure of the miles on mine as I think I put a low mileage used on when I needed to do the other side. Funny thing is that I have 0 noise from it. Front end has started to feel different (not as tight but not loose either) but I was told it's NG when I just tried and failed my inspection.
I'm going to order 2 new bearings and do the ECGS bushing (finally) at the same time. Damn needs vs wants! This is putting back (a little bit) something I was just about to order

 

On a different note. I just tried the KFC mac & cheese bowl. Not too bad but quite a few pieces of "chicken" that just ended up being the breading that's been fried
