I have the Falken's on my truck, and they have great traction. Still not as good as a dedicated winter tire would, but very good for an all-terrain.

For on road use, the Michelins are a great tire. If you want to go with a dedicated snow tire, they will out perform the Michelins but the Michelins will do well in the snow.

Audiophiles! I've already got my Android unit and like it. So I'm looking to do a speaker and Tweeter upgrade. All I know is I want mostly plug and play and currently am looking at Rockford fosgate. Not looking to spend a fortune, not adding amps, lung to stay around 175 and under. Pics of what I'm currently thinking. Already have a crutchfield gift card

Good choice, but make sure you add passive crossovers to the doors instead of the rubbish you currently have in the front

I see a digital report has been made from the 3rd party adjuster/appraiser.

    floor mats (aftermarket)
    nerf bars (aftermarket)
    skid plates (aftermarket)
    fog lights (aftermarket)
    custom wheels (aftermarket)
    brush guard (aftermarket)
    Roof rack (aftermarket)

I do not have an offer yet but find it interesting that the appraiser noted these non oem items.

Please, please, please don't do that! Please don't put full range speakers near your calfs/ankles. It will only lower your sound stage. The highs are the most directorial part of sound so you want it up higher so it sounds more realistic.
You can get a set of components that don't cost alot and will sound much better than doing it that way.

BTW - lets get Drew @tacobell007 in on this conversation! He's also in car audio

Crossovers. The things that takes the lows out of tweeters and highs out of woofers. A set of components will already have them. Hence the better sound

Jason @jpereira2 what's your budget? Whats the most you'd be willing to pay for a set of front speakers.

Yes price matters. It matters big time!

I'm really only looking to spend like 200 for all four speakers and two tweeters unless I magically get more gift cards. Also don't really want to have to run wires.

Can i make a suggestion? Spend that budget on the front speakers and run the stock speakers in the rear... for now. You can always upgrade them later if you want/need to. You'll be much happier.

Dang! Lol please do. Would I treat the rear speakers the same? Trying to learn a bit and not be too cheap but by no means do I need something crazy

No rear is just for fill and for the kids to hear but again you want the sound to come out from in front of you. Just think about going to a concert. The band is in front of you up on a stage. Try to keep the same thing.

I found this awesome set of speakers for half their regular price. Grest speakers! And they are well within your price range!

And this is why, even though I no longer own a Tacoma, you guys can still get me to spend a lot of money on my vehicle!

Ok so those come with tweeters right, that I can put in the factory location. And then for the rear I should get 2ways https://www.crutchfield.com/p_091RCX165/Focal-RCX-165.html

Very true, after rereading my post, I'd rather say spread out the cost so I don't feel like a total broke ass white boy spending all my money at once. More like heal up from one and go for the next lol.

I would always run a component setup over coaxial speakers any day of the week whenever possible. My tundra will have components, double din, and a sub eventually to enjoy it as a daily driver more

Yes they come with the tweeters & crossovers already and yes those are a perfect match! The best thing about ordering from Crutchfield is that they provide the speaker adapters and everything you need to install them.
