I completed week#1 of a full month of vacation. Don't have to be back at work till 12/16.
Got deer #2 yesterday, skinned and quartered and in the cooler. Second archery buck, so I'm tagged out with bucks. 2 doe tags left for archery.
Week and a half shotgun season starts for me on the 30th. 4 more tags go with that.

That's what you get for living in Hoof Rat country. I got a bonus tag this year, which means I can take a grand total of 2 deer (one has to be a doe) across all 3 seasons (archery, rifle, and BP).

You see more deer than that dead on the side of the road just driving 10 miles on CT-91

    You ain't kidding.
I'm hunting local watershed near my house, and they want the brown goats out. It'll never happen.

I still get tags for private land and muzzleloader, even though I don't hunt it. I think my tag total is around 16 or so.
I do alright hunting local, but greatly miss going to deer camp up North.

I think the designers modeled it after a rubber doorstop.

Those look awesome for the price looks like the Baja designs LP series.

It’s hysterical. It has to be a marketing ploy to exploit the internet meme area.... right? Right?

There must be an increase in the deer population in Ma this year. I've already seen 4 deer strikes this month on my commute on 495 and one on rt 9. There was one tonight around 7pm in the right lane on 495N near Franklin...Fresh one...Statie was in the breakdown lane with his spotlight shining on it. The "Roadkill Ahead" for Waze is great for all these deer. There was one last week on RT 9 westbound just after the Connector road overpass that got dragged for about 100 yards and left it all on the road. The road looked painted red and smelled like a farm when you drove through it.

I saw 3 does driving through E Bridgewater the other day.

A baby squirrel fell on my hood yesterday, does that count?
