I will be receiving the last edition of my sign on bonus from work $500 soon. I would like to use this for new snow tires. I’m sure I will need more money than that, but it will certainly help.

I currently have Bridgestone Duelers HT’s. I like them a lot, they are a quiet ride. My tires I have are 16/265/17.

i’m looking for recommendations for snow tires .

I thought they just catch fire, pretty much voiding the reason for needing a mechanic to begin with :notsure:
Mine did really well today also, same tires. They're a very competent year-round tire, in my opinion.

    Right.

Yeah, my mother's jeep. Noise coming from the front ended. Only on when 4wd is engages. Narrows it down pretty quick.

hmmm cousin's jeep is doing the same thing, asked if he ever did a transfer case fluid change......nope. he's at like 130k+ so I told him you're overdue, not sure if it'll solve the issue or not though

I was thinking a snow tire. Was checking out Cooper Discoverer AT3’s though. Look pretty meaty...

Sounding like the rear joint on the front shaft to me. But I figured that's territory where a jeep mechanic will have seen it before

Thanks for the tip helped a lot. Saved me a lot of frustration with how slow the wand pumps this stuff out.

Seemed to spray really thick I wish it came out easier and spread more like a spray paint. I had to coat like 1” passes at a time. I heated it to about 75 degrees for 3 days next to my pellet stove and shot it at 110PSI still was a little tricky to spread. Debating if I heat it more next time or thin it out a bit.

Well work got called off today due to the snow. So I think I will go to the local hardware store and grab some paint supplies and get to work.

    Hmm....

@crashnburn80 if I sent you one of them to test would I get it back? haha I have a set of the standards and the pro's incoming. (Granted the standards are flush mount so I'm not sure if that'll mess up your testing).

Yea I was in on the original order, the lead time is expected since they had a massive discount on them for the release and a buy xx get 1 free deal.... I almost bought in for inventory but I just have too much on the line right now with investments.

Got up at 2:30 this morning to head down to Hartford CT from Wrentham for work. What is usually about an 1 hour 30 minute drive turned into 3 and half hours. Well I at least know my 4 wheel drive works on my new Taco!

I liked this post but this sounds terrible! I started on my way into work, got about 20-30 minutes in and realized I had left my laptop at home. I went back and decided I was going to work from home today...
