Very true on good and bad for everyone. My experience with GM was just a clusterfuck of everyone blaming everyone else and just sticking it to me. Especially since there was not only my powertrain warranty I was still within when I first reported it, plus the secret warranty on the engine as well.

My commute was nice. Just rain and very few people on the road. Installed an used OEM roof rack on the LC Saturday I picked up from MUD cheap. Really wanted a front-runner rack, but at around $1200 for the front runner or $200 for the OEM... I went OEM. Now I'm on the search for another rooftop cargo box since I smoked my last one an one of the concrete beams at Logan.

 

Morning all. Back to work after two days and a holiday off...What a clusterf*ck.
Don't expect to be on here too much today, getting caught up with work shit. But wanted to pop in and say "hiya"

The issue with Brady is he has his lucky special diet...which isn't allowing his elbow to heal...He's not getting the animal proteins he needs to fix the soft tissue damage. He probably needs surgery. We'll never know because revealing the injury not only his fad diet but compromises his entire product line/philosophy. He's gifted that he was able to play for so long but his special diet thingy is correlative not causative. The other players who tried his diet end up with similar connective tissue injuries. Edelman does the TB12 and has both knee and shoulder ligament issues right now...not to mention the 2018 ACL tear...I love what Tom has done but he is getting old, he's still very good, but the Patriots need to plan for the future and the last 2 futures are now the starters on other teams and one probably could reach the superbowl for the 49'ers.
Brady was not seeing open receivers again, there are drops and bad throws. On the 3rd and 6 yesterday he threw underneath to Sanu 4 yards down field with 2 guys over the top of him and zero chance of a first down. The tight end ran a post pattern with no safety over the top and had 2 steps on the LB. All he had to do was lay it over the top and it was a 20 yard gain...but his Edelman...Edelman...Edelman...3x teamed force it in plan isn't working...

 

His elbow may be bad but his real issue, and this is according to his own wife...

Concussions. He's had a shit ton that he never reported or they hid. Hes destroying his long term life for 15 years of glory. The most disgusting thing is how fast everyone turns on him. Literally half the "fans" I know are bitching and calling him names etc...

I guess its all a business anyways, and he shouldn't expect any better since the Boston media and fan base have been so wishywashy for years now.

edit: I'm not saying you are doing this, you've spelt it out quite nicely. Time to start looking ahead and let him go without it being embarrassing.

 

IDK about all this stuff but I do know Brady is not playing very well. It's not a bash/get rid of him session but he's definitely not playing like himself this year. That plus when he is getting the ball to his receiver's they are not really performing they way they should either, lots of dropped balls.

 

I don't even watch football anymore and haven't for a few years. I just remember seeing an interview with the wife claiming lots of hidden brain injuries. If you look at CTE and the suicides and issues...he's getting near the age where people start getting affected.

It could be he's 90 years old compared to a 22 year old rookie and he's just slowing down a bit which is natural. It's hard to watch someone who is legit the best ever, slowly fall into mediocracy.

 

The offense as a whole is a shit show. They literally can't figure out what they want to do. Gilmore got torched yesterday... Very uncharacteristic.

 

The wife and I drove back from Portland ME today. Roads were bad up there. Saw about about 10 accidents (some just that lost control and off to the side). Four involved 18 wheelers. Like some said, stay safe out there!

 

Granted TFB isn't a kid anymore, and we all know Father Time is ultimately undefeated..sadly.

That said this season isn't all on him, not by a longshot.

Much as I dislike his antics, we all knew Gronk is not easily replaced to say the least. On top of that you have the Antonio Brown clusterfuck..which I'll still never understand why they gave him one look much less a second look. Josh Gordon didn't pan out this year either.

Not that he's a top 10 WR anymore, but waiving Demaryius Thomas didn't help either.

While this is more bad luck than anything else, our kicking game is lacking something..namely, a kicker.

I didn't buy into the hype about the D this year either, for the record..
